Kathy, I’m glad your back and sad to hear you have picked some stalkers. I hope it doesn’t keep you from writing. You stories finished or not have made a really difference in my life. I know you write for your own reasons and not for profit, but it would great if you would sell them for cost on Amazon so I could download them and keep them in my digital library, in case some thing happens to the online world. Stay safe and well and don’t let the trolls of the world get you down.

Hi Everyone!
I have been feverishly trying to get stories edited and posted over at FictionPress and FanFiction. Unfortunately I haven't been able to go as fast as I have wanted. I had a little trouble with OneDrive not syncing properly as I moved between machines and as I tried to fix it, I missed some pretty egregious mistakes. Sorry about that. I appreciate those that were kind about letting me know. Some weren't so those that were, again thanks.
Veta's story is almost finished. I only have about five more chapters but they are complicated chapters requiring a little extra editing and removing scrips and things like that. However, I am also going out of town starting tomorrow and my internet time will be limited. I hope to get it completed as soon as possible but there may be a blank day between posts … and that's assuming I can get on line from where I am going.
As soon as I do finish with Veta's story I am going to finish up Starting Over and from there get back to some of the older stories that need updating and completing. I am in the process of trying to set outlines and a schedule that doesn't burn me out and works with my real world/real life.
I want to thank everyone for their encouragement and forbearance. See you on the same "bat channel" around May 25th at the latest.

Kathy, really really appreciate all you do to keep us entertained. I love reading (and re-reading) your stories. They make so much sense and give us such a lot of information on prepping, and just on general human interactions with one another. Some us us (me especially) lead pretty sheltered lives so these characters take on real flesh and blood characteristics. We love 'em and we love you for sharing!

Dear Kathy, I love how I can click follow on your stories over there and get an email when you have added to them. I did see some typos in the chapters put up today and figured you must of been bone tired. Do you want feedback on such errors in the comments section? I did not, because I admire your work and did not want to nit pic. Through Veta I have now journeyed to my bucket list dream vacation sans visas, funds and vaccinations. Thank you for your stories here and there.
Flying out in a couple of hours but managed to get the last chapter of Veta posted. I'll read the comments as I can. Just want to thank everyone for their patience.

I moved my stories to FictionPress. If you go to the link in my sig it will take you to the blog where I have updated all of the story links on the right side of the page. Thanks for enjoying. I am editing stories and putting them up by chapter at FictionPress and FanFiction because … oh my Lord … they so need it. And I still manage to miss Grammarly type stuff. LOL I write as I speak and trust me when I say Siri and Alexa are the only ones with some problems in that area. ROFL!!

Nah, this looks like it's turned into something like the coffee shop next door to the 'workplace', or turned into the "Cheers" set, where some still come to make a comment or two. Anybody else getting frustrated over trying to figure out where/how/when to use that "review" feature there and wondering where they all are? I simply haven't dug into it much, and for what it's worth, I kinda miss the back and forth between all the readers that happens between chapters here and other forum-formatted sites.
I still haven't figured out the commenting process on the fictionpress website, and Kathy please do not take it in a negative way that I haven't commented much! I followed you the author instead of Yelysaveta the story, and found that I got notices for everything you post up over there, new threads and all. Every notification email is welcome, anticipated, and enjoyed.
I have a certain order in which I read the stories you're currently adding onto. Starting Over and Over is last.... for the same reason dessert is last
Hartford Ridge is first, for the simple reason that you attack the ribeye first

I'm sure it isn't helping that I slowed down posting. My hubs and son are off hiking in NM so I've had the business to deal with an some people are in complete-retard mode. Oldest son has been helping where he can but there are some things legally that only hubby and I can do/sign.
Tomorrow is Monday and all the crazies make it worse but I will try and post tomorrow on as many of the stories as I can.

Kathy, in no way was I implying that you should do MORE "housekeeping" than what you're doing. It's the setup of that site. I haven't learned it yet. Old dogs, new tricks, ya know? No complaints here, ma'am!

Commenting is at the end of each chapter in a large box at the bottom of the page. In order to comment you must be a member ( its free) and be logged in.
There is also the options to mark the story as a favorite story and author and also to an option to follow the story/author ( notifications via email to let you know the story has been added to)
They are just small check boxes

Guess I ought to go look at that again. I went and did all that back when the original Veta story was on its first or second tranche of posts and didn't see any activity there to speak of, never went back to look again. I did however follow K the author, and that's how I've found the other stories she's started posting, including this one.
