UPDATED 8:17 PM EST Dec 02, 2014

BOSTON —Medical officials at Massachusetts General Hospital say they are evaluating a patient who may be infected with the Ebola virus.

In a statement posted to the website, officials said around 2 p.m., while undergoing routine monitoring by the Boston Public Health Commission, a person who was determined to be under investigation for Ebola was admitted to the hospital for evaluation.

The person is in a specially prepared area within the hospital while testing is underway.

Hospital officials said a diagnosis of Ebola has not yet been confirmed.

Officials said the hospital has been preparing for months in the event that a person was admitted to the hospital with a suspected case of the virus.

Medical officials said even though it's unconfirmed that the person is in fact infected with Ebola, the hospital is taking actions that are recommended by the enters for Disease Control and Prevention as a precaution.

Last week at work, before I died, [sounds funny, saying that] I had been getting ALOT OF GRIEF from the public whenever I asked the usual ebola 'search' type questions. People have been getting down right snarky over it.......

Folks, we're asking these types of questions for a damn reason! Deal with it! (just venting out loud, not at you guys)

Greetings, BigFootsCousin: Glad you are still among the living, my friend. Please take it easy, too. Yeah, the public needs to get a grip. Ebola is real even if the
reporting isn't thanks to Czar Klain and Obola. Take care. BREWER

Neither here nor there.
There have been a couple of patients treated here in central Iowa, only made the news well after the fact so I'm not sure what the big deal is anymore. There are still 20+ people on voluntary quarantine, they should be done with that in about a week or so, in various locals here in Iowa that worked as medical support in Liberia, and that other country. Again not making the national news or anything like that, so don't know what the big deal is.

Went to the doc yesterday, was asked the standard questions, my response was "not that I know of" because I truly don't know if I came into contact with anyone when I was out grocery shopping for turkey day, or not it's not like those who have been exposed walk around with a sign on their foreheads saying "hey I have ebola", sigh. The reception person said "ok" and sent me on my way to see my doc.

Been in the hospital and doctors offices 3 times in the last two weeks. I was happy to see the signs stating if I have a fever or been to Liberia to let a staff member know. Didn't mind them asking me about multiple times during my visits either. The young girl at reception today seemed almost timid asking about it, I smiled and answered no.

I'll assume my appreciation of this is due to my white privilege.

At a news conference Tuesday night, Dr. Paul Biddinger, the director of emergency preparedness at Mass General Hospital, said initial test results could be expected overnight, but it could take days to know definitely whether or not the person has Ebola.

Biddinger said the person, who was not identified, recently traveled to an Ebola-affected area and is showing symptoms that are consistent with a wide range of viruses and diseases.

Let me be the one to say it, "Let me guess, another snowflake". Oh and I'll be the first on this one as well. "Malaria" haha. Lol, I think every health care worker that goes "over there" and dies, should be immortalized with a plaque on a wall somewhere. I would give the plaque at least a .500Millisecond glance, as I go through my daily life.

The road to H*ll is paved with good intentions.

So... they give NO information about anything. If it turns out to be ebola, will they give less information?

Sunday night there was a convoluted news item on local news about someone who 'might' have ebola in Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT. It was so unclear I couldn't figure out why they even reported the story.

DERBY, CT (WFSB) -
A patient who could be at risk for Ebola has been admitted to Griffin Hospital in Derby on Sunday.

Officials at Griffin Hospital stated they have an adult male who traveled to Liberia recently and returned to Connecticut within the past 24 to 48 hours.

According to officials, the patient was brought to Griffin Hospital by ambulance, but with a condition not symptomatically related to Ebola. Due to being in Liberia, Griffin Hospital put its Ebola response plan into place.

The male was initially quarantined in the hospital, but after consulting with with state health officials and the CDC the person was taken out of quarantine. Officials did not say why the patient was taken out of quarantine at this time.

The patient was determined to not have Ebola-like symptoms at this time, but is still staying at the hospital.

Caregivers who were in contact with this patient are asked to take their temperature twice a day.

Mass. General announces patient has MALARIA:

The initial test for Ebola on the patient admitted to Massachusetts General Hospital yesterday with suspected Ebola virus disease is negative. The patient has, however, tested positive for malaria. Further diagnostic testing is needed to definitively rule out Ebola virus disease and other diagnoses. The patient had been undergoing routine monitoring by the Boston Public Health Commission after previously working in Liberia in a non-medical capacity. In accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, and out of an abundance of caution for our patients, their families and our staff, the hospital is continuing to follow the highest possible safety precautions. The patient is in good spirits and remains in a specially prepared isolated area within the hospital. The patient has given Mass General consent to release the information above.

What I can't figure out is how every Ebola test performed seems to have a different turnaround time as far as results. And nobody in the MSM questions this? They might as well say, "We are performing tests and results will be available once we decide what we want to tell you, whenever that may be."

I'm sure the nobola test has already come back.

I'm sure the problem has been solved.

I'm sure the lies will continue.

I'm sure the media has already moved on to sales results at toys are us.

I'm sure we will all be dead before any Ebola case is admitted in the USA.

Now, where did that so called Ebola Czar go? What kind of Czar, designed to keep the sheeple happy, runs off and hides?

Yep, there will never be an Ebola case in the USA because the powers that be have decided it will be that way.

I agree 100%. I also asked my clinic when I checked in if they had patients from that area and or suspected cases, they were indignant that I would ask?
