I ordered another large canister of coffee, that makes four I have put back. I mix a large canister of Folgers and a bag of Community Coffee and Chicory to help improve the taste. I like a bold cup of coffee. This blend lasts up to three months, I rotate and never seem to have stale coffee. So I have a good year of coffee on hand, gotta have my coffee.

I can vouch for you on the storage of coffee - we drink Maxwell House ground, always have, and we buy ours at Costco especially when they're on sale. At one point we had 12-14 canisters of the 48 oz size. We could detect no change in coffee that we've had in storage for at least a year. Just 2 of us here, but DH can drink a lot of coffee in a day (he's retired LEO, what can I say?). We're down to 5 now, and we're hoping for a sale soon.

Just the two of us, we can drink a lot of coffee. I buy the 48oz size jug of Folgers at Sam's club. I've got 25 48oz jugs in storage. That should be enough to last us at least a year. I rotate, and none has been stale so far. Even if I were to open one that is a little stale, it's better than no coffee at all! LOL...

I totally agree, I'll drink just about any coffee rather than having none. I also have two 5 gallon buckets filled with instant coffee, all in glass jars, I think it gets nasty in plastic jars.
