Our 92 Dodge Caravan has a transmission problem. When started up it shifts and drives OK, but after a couple of miles it won't accelerate from a stop. Engine revs but no movement. This is in all gears (R, D 2,1 ). Seems it might be a electrical problem, as when it is turned off it will shift and run ok when restarted.
Oh, the trans fluid is full and of the correct type. It has been recently chamged and a new filter installed. No metal chunks were seen in the pan, only the usual 'fuzz' on the magnet, and the fluid was a redish color with no burnt smell. Now the fluid is still the same color.
