Misc Abscess

I'm sure there are threads about this, but I don't have time to search. We are dealing with an infected tooth that absessed. Now, we have been able to get rid of the infection... but the abscess still remains. In the past, we have drained the abscess ourselves, but it is healing so quickly this time, I have to keep opening it up for the drainage to continue. Any advice would be helpful.

I have abscesses a lot. I use a combination of things when I get them and don't recommend any of them, but they help me. First off, don't let anything sweet touch your bad tooth, makes it worse. I put a whole garlic clove in by the abscess. Rinse often with warm salt water, hold it on there for a bit. Then I take a sanitized pin and poke the swelling. Not too hard but it seems to give the abscess a direction to go. In about a day perhaps two it will break and then rinse well with colloidal silver. Should take it till you can get it fixed. The whole will stay till the tooth is pulled but at least the abscess is not building up in you. A dentist told me if it can drain you should be OK for a bit. If you can go and get it pulled, do it. I have suffered for ten years with bad teeth, unfortunately I can't get them fixed. For multiple reasons.I hope it is getting better for you. Also, you can take advil, then two hours later Tylenol for the pain. They do two different things and helps a lot, but kills your stomach and liver.
