Anyone familiar with the Colorado Truck?

The Dude Abides
I will be purchasing a new vehicle soon, and have been thinking about the colorado, crew cab. Does anyone have any experience with this truck? Likes? dislikes?

Thanks in advance!

I have also been thinking about a crosslander but there is only one dealer in NC for those.

I don't own one, but I did rent one a couple of months ago. Its a little odd having a 5 cylinder engine. And the exhaust noise is irratating, but other than that it was a good truck. As for me, I would stay away from it for the first year or so. Just so they can work the bugs out of it. Its nothing against this truck, but it seems they ususally need a year or two to work the problems out. Basically, it was a fun little truck to drive.

Yes, it's another example of the close relationship between GM and Isuzu...

I rented one for a day or two, a little while back. Come to think of it, it was a GMC Canyon -- same thing. This crew cab had a V6 and was fairly zippy. Four people were comfortable inside the cab, but I have a hard time buying a pickup with only 5 feet of bed. I believe the extended cab version has a six foot bed. And they do make bed extenders these days, that go on the tailgate.

I think "slightly larger S-10" is fairly accurate. Not a full sized truck, but a cute rig if you're not into heavy hauling.
