Brown Recluse Spider Bite Protocol.

As some of you might remember a couple of years back my husband was bitten. He started with a little pimple and then all hell broke loose when he scratched it open. The little pimple became a full blown ulcer in just 2 days.

I had to force him to go to a doctor. The doctor in this case was African and was very familar with spider treatment in Africa.

He prescribed "Dapisone", an antibiotic. I was scared as the doctor said my hubbys leg might need to be debrided. This is a proceedure when the doctor excises the tissue out from around the bite. It leaves a huge area open to infection.

Off to the net to read all I can about the spider and how the toxin spreads. The bites looked awful. I saw the bites, learned the life cycle of the spider but I could not find any treatments that were hollistic so I had to make my own.

So I sat down and found all the herbs that cleanse the blood, reduce inflammation, kill bacteria, and increase healing. I came up with a protocol that worked in just 4 weeks. As some might know, the toxin travels around the area and sometimes to the other extremity and a new ulcer would form and then ulcerate again. This can happen in a matter of a few weeks and last a year or more, maybe for life at the information I read. I was scared for him.

So I decided to use this protocol and am pleased to say that it has worked in at least 40 people now.

I gave him;
5000 mg time released vitamin E in 2 doses a day. 2500 Bid.
Burdock root (Arctium lappa) 360 mg caplules., 2 capsules-4 times a day.
Collidal Silver liquid (30 ppm) 3 dropper fulls a day. One every 3 to 4 hours.

Next I cleaned the ulcer with betadyne solution and put 3-4 drops of lavender angostifolia essential oil right on the ulcer and any little pimples that poped up. Next I doused with ulcer with collidal silver, soaked a gauze strip with C-Silver and bandaged up the area. I changed this 3 times a day.

With in the first week, the black was gone and the redness was going inward towards the middle of the ulcer. The ulcer it's self looked awful going from grey to black and finally to some nice pink tissue.

We returned to the doctor as instructed in one week and the doctor was amazed and asked what we did. The first words out of my hubby's mouth were my girlfriend is an herbalist and she gave me these herbs internally and topically. The nice doctor, with out a word walked out of the room. The nurses returned and asked us what we did as they have never seen an ulcer from the bite heal so fast and well. I gave them the protocol. You see, we returned as the doctor had an appointment to debride the area as he usually did with each case. He said he never saw this before. Did not care how we did it.

I feel the dapisone along with the internal herbs, C and silver, as will as the topical treatment worked faster and saved him from a horrible surgery.

I have always wanted to leave something behind that I have done to help people. I can now say my protocol has traveled from Tahoe, Sacramento, up here in the hills and all the way to Modesto.

I no longer charge or work as an herbalist and was surprised to get another call for this protocol for someone just bit. The guy is in a high infestation area in the sticks and had just had his house sprayed. He was in a panic so I gave him what to use and how to do it. Along with his doctors care that is.

I hope this thread will help others to avoid the painful surgery and be able to treat the little blisters that will pop up later.

Thank you HM. Hope I never have to use it, but if I do, I am going to make sure I keep this handy.
Along with the protocol for snakebite...electric shock.

That's great info, Herbie, thanks! I'll be printing that out for my notebook.

Now, what about Black Widow bites? We have a multitude of both of the little darlings around here.

OK, this is gonna sound strange, but keep some clay slip around for those bites. Draws the venom right out.

My DH was bitten for the second time early this summer. he knew it was a brown recluse because he killed it. He immediately washed it and I made a paste out of Adolf's meat tenderizer and put on it. It got red as it digested the venom. I changed it 3 times until it stopped getting pink. Then I put him on grapefruit seed extract 3 times a day until I was sure it was not going to infect. I put on tea tree ointment after the tenderizer treatment to keep it from infection. Within 3 days it was healing and all he had was a tiny hole that had ulcerated. It was about the size of a saccarine tablet. It was completely healed within two weeks.

That's great Mushroom. But the problem and is so common is people think it is a pimple or mesquito bite and start squeezing it. This moves the venom to the outer surrounding tissue. Most do not notice until 2-3 days that they have a problem. By then the venom starts migrating through the tissues, through the blood. That is why even after the bite is healed other little blisters pop up and the host starts scratching again. In some cases I have read this can happen for years. Ouch. That is why the burdock and vitamin c is so important to cleanse the blood and liver to remove all the toxins. It is one nasty bite.

As for a black widow bite? Im sure the same protocol can be done minus the antibiotics. In this case follow Mushrooms suggestions. In the case of a deep ulcer the tea tree can be not too tissue friendly. The upper skin can handle it but not when the ulcer is 1/4th deep. I always vere on the cautious side.

Thanks Herbie! It's probably my dense head but could you explain the 3 dropperfuls a day and the phrase every "3 to 4 hours" ? Is that 3 droppersful every 3 to 4 hours or 3 dropperfuls spread out over 24 hours? This is such important information I want to get it right!

Also, later in the port you mention C. How much, how often?

I've already put the protocol as well as Mushroom's with my beginners herbal info. Many thanks for sharing!

HerbMountain, I was thinking about this post last night and a light went off in my brain. I have a cat who has had an open ulcer on his ear for some time, which refuses to heal, and has been getting larger. I can't afford a Vet right now, we are in the process of moving and trying to come up with first, last, security and pet deposit...arghhhh!!!!
Anyway, I had been treating it with peroxide and alloe, and it sudeenly occurred to me that this is probably a spider bite!
I used to live on a farm and the cats slept in a shed on the property.
So I am going to try this protocol on my cat...

Salal Sue. That is one dropper full-every 3-4 hours a day. So 3-4 dropper fulls in a 12 hour period.

The C I was giving my hubby was a Time Released 1000 tab. I was giving him 5000 mg a day. 3 Am and 2 PM in a 12 hour period. Now you can safely take 10,000 mg a day but have to slowly lower off a little at a time with such a high dose. It is very important to find the time released.

Cardinal. OUch. It might be the peroxide that is keeping it from healing. It really burns open sores and the cat might be scratching it afterwards. I would use the C-Silver and then apply Neosporin ointment every change you get. I think I keep repeating that peroxide is not too tissue friendly. It does oxidate the germs upward and out in some wounds but in areas that are slow healing, it can do more harm than good. Hope that helps.

I use Electro shock. With an $18.00, low power little shocker. Too bad the hospitals don't use them. OOPS, I forgot.. they would not have the $40,000.00 hospital bills for spider bites and or snake bites! Shame on me!

Article on Spider Bites

HI
I personally am not very familiar with spider bites, but I read an informative article in Discover Magazine's Sept 2005 issue that details what spider bites look like, which spiders are poisonous, where they reside and other information for a variety of different spiders including: black widows, giant house spider, white-tailed, camel spiders, yellow-sac and brown recluse. The article also puts some spider 'myths' to rest.

A picture of the brown recluse can be found here.

http://www.emedicinehealth.com/articles/10729-8.asp#Multimediamedia5Warning on the last link. If you are queezy do not open this link. It is graphic, bloody and shows debridement of the bite area.

The reason I show these pictures is what scared the hell out of me and made my then boyfriend come home here and stay until I he was somewhat healed. His started turning black and that is when I blasted him with the above protocol. The topical treatment is what kept the venom from spreading. It was horrible but not as bad as some of these pictures.

I've heard of that but never heard any details of how it works.... what does it do?????

So I am not telling treatment. But for the ones I know that have used it and the doctors I have read of on the net..it simply busts up the proteins that make up the toxins. So no toxins: no ill effects. It boils down to for myself and those I know who have used it..do you want to be sick or well? The ones I know who have used it become well immediately. Like I say though I am not recommending it. Because I am not a Doctor. You might go to rattlesnake ranch, and read their snakebite treatment rec. because they have the rundown there on the shock treatment and the way to do it. It is amazing that it works. It kind of reminds me of the treatment for stomach ulcers and the Nobel prize for it recently. The guys that won it said their biggest problem was getting people to believe them.
