The CBC isn't subejct to the order against reporting results before all the polls are closed.

So far, Bush has 95 electoral votes, and Kerry has 78.
Bush has:
Oklahoma,
Alabama,
Georgia,
Tennessee,
Indiana,
Kentucky,
West Virginia,
Virginia,
Texas,
Wyoming,
North Dakota,
South Dakota,
Nebraska,
Kansas,
North Carolina,
South Carolina,
Missouri.

Kerry has:
D.C.,
Illinnois,
Maryland,
New Jersey,
Connecticut,
Massechusetts,
Vermont,
Maine.
Delaware,
New York,
Rhode Island.

Note- Thecount on total electoral votes is off the CBC TV, and is more up-to-date than the states listed above, which is from the 'net. According to the states above, it's 66/77 Kerry/Bush. I don't know what the other states are that Bush has got.

Figured out the discrepancy. The TV numbers are coming in live, but the internet numbers, where I get the state results from, are from Associated Press, and CB's jsut using it. AP must be lagging tonight.

CBC just updated. It's now 108 Bush, 77 Kerry.

Edited to add: Bush gets Virginia. Kerry's count drops to 77 because Maine splits its electoral votes, and that hadn't been factored in yet.

I'll jsut keep the list of states in the first post up to date...

A caution...

Understand of course - those are PROJECTIONS based on the number of precincts that have reported in. For most states reporting in, that's still a very small number.

I still think it's way too early to call & that's not even considering court challenges, recounts & such.
