My husband takes CBD Strainz Tincture Restore in the am and CBD butter in the evening. Neither give a "high" but both have an incredible effect on his pain from back and leg pain allowing him to function without a walker, back to taking care of ranch and horses and yard.
It has an unexpected side benefit of drastically lowering his blood sugar levels so that he has had to cut back on insulin and check his levels frequently. It has also decreased his appetite and he is very slowly loosing some weight.
Marijuana is legal here now. His doctor signed the paperwork to get a medical marijuana card, however, we have not done so yet. There is some confusion over what the status of CCW would be so the kids just pick the oil up at a recreational dispensary and make the butter.
I have been opposed to marijuana for many years (my generation I think) and hubby also (former law enforcement) but I am now a true believer. It has reduced or eliminated pain the Percocet and Vicodon couldn't touch.
