Add a simple 'No' to the poll?

I vote 'No'. It is all just too 'convenient'.

I buy "Prez in need of Poll Boost" as behind this propaganda story.

I do believe it to be pure propaganda.

PZ, now I know how you voted, lol...but we have two folks who have swallowed the story....

Waiting ....

I posted this for 5 days. Should be interesting...

Oh, for those who voted yes and would like to reconfirm your reasons, go to http://www.gcnlive.com and listen to Infowars program today. The first and 2 and third hour are very enlightening with guests that you will really want to listen to. Alex even kept his mouth shut pretty much and let them talk! You can either access it thru the On Demand or go and download just the 3 hours. It's worth your time to listen.
1rst hour was Gen. Gould, ex head of the Pakistani Intelligence agency with his thoughts. He was also the leader of the Mujahadeen when they were fighting the Russians...

The next 2 hours that you need to listen to will fly by for you. This guy was deputy Secretary of State for 3 US presidents and still does work with the Pentagon. He will also open your eyes a bit and he dropped some pretty big bombshells during the second hour...it's a MUST listen. I am not kidding here, even Alex was quiet for most of the interview.

After you listen to these two gentlemen, then come back and comment, even if you already voted.

I can't adjust the poll to add anymore options. A mod has to do that. Either he was killed this weekend/last week or was already dead.
Those are the answers...don't really need anymore.

I'd say he has either has been dead for years or is still alive. The war on terror is total bullshit and has been from the start. If the media can sell this current story to the West as well as the Middle East then it will be the start of WWII.

I consider the bombing that the US is doing currently from high altitude on Libya to be no different at all from the 911 bombing; in fact worse. Why is it wrong to attack the US but right to attack for no reason countries like Afghanistan and Libya. Don't give me the bull that you can bomb for years because of one man that happens to be a Saudi. What is the difference between an ordinary worker in the US and a ordinary middle class worker in places like Iraq?

Bombing Libya; 1986-2011

By Thomas C. Mountain

22 March, 2011
Countercurrents.org

http://www.countercurrents.org/mountain220311.htm

In 1987 I was a member of the 1st US Peace Delegation to Libya. We went there to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the US bombing of Libya in 1986.

In April 1986 US warplanes struck Tripoli at 2 am. They bombed the Gaddafi family residence, wounding several of his family members and killing his 15 month old daughter. My daughter was about the same age at the time and I really, really felt it.

The US planes also bombed a civilian apartment complex, miles from any military targets, killing dozens of children as they slept. I helped place flowers on the graves of these children in the Martyrs Cemetery located in the middle of the old Italian race track in Tripoli.

This past Sunday morning I woke up and turned on the news to see a grieving Libyan family burying their 3 year old daughter, killed as she slept by the latest US attack on Libya.

Over the past quarter century I have followed developments in Libya and since moving here to Eritrea in 2006 have even had Col. Gaddafi spend the night in his tent on the beach down the road from our home on the Red Sea.

The USA seems to need an Arab or Muslim boogeyman to hate. Before Osama Bin Laden there was Saddam Hussein and before Saddam Hussein there was Muammar Gaddafi. With such a long history involved It seems that almost everyone needs to be brought up to date on what is really going on in Libya.

First, some history. In 1969 when Col. Gaddafi came to power by overthrowing the Libyan king in a military coup, Libyan’s were one of the poorest people in the world with an annual per capita income of less than $60.

Today, thanks to the “Arab Socialism” policy of the government as well as bountiful petroleum exports, the Libyan people enjoy one of the highest standards of living in the Arab world. Most Libyan families own their own home and most Libyan families own an automobile.

The free public health system in Libya is one of the best in the Arab world and Libya’s free education system up to the graduate level is as good if not better than any other in the region.

So the question is, why has a revolt broken out?

The answer, which I have been intensely researching for the past month is not a simple one.

The revolt started in Benghazi in eastern Libya. A very important point not mentioned anywhere in the international media is the fact that due to geographic location, being one of the closest point to Europe from the African continent, Benghazi has over the past 15 years or so become the epicenter of African migration to Europe. At one point over a thousand African migrants a day were pouring into Libya in hopes of arranging transport to Europe.

The human trafficking industry, one of the most evil, inhumane businesses on the planet, grew into a billion dollar a year industry in Benghazi. A large, viscous underworld mafia set down deep roots in Benghazi, employing thousands in various capacities and corrupting Libyan police and government officials. It has only been in the past year or so that the Libyan government, with help from Italy, has finally brought this cancer under control. With their livelihood destroyed and many of their leaders in prison, the human trafficking mafia have been at the forefront in funding and supporting the Libyan rebellion. Many of the human trafficking gangs and other lumpen elements in Benghazi are known for racist pogroms against African guest workers where over the past decade they regularly robbed and murdered Africans in Benghazi and its surrounding neighborhoods. Since the rebellion in Benghazi broke out several hundred Sudanese, Somali, Ethiopian and Eritrean guest workers have been robbed and murdered by racist rebel militias, a fact well hidden by the international media.

Benghazi has also long been a well known center of religious extremism. Libyan fanatics who spent time in Afghanistan are concentrated there and a number of terrorist cells have been carrying out bombings and assassinations of government officials in Benghazi over the past two decades. One cell, calling itself the Fighting Islamic Group, declared itself an Al Queda affiliate back in 2007. These cells were the first to take up arms against the Libyan government.

The last, and most difficult problem that has been festering in Libya is based on well known backward cultural beliefs in Libyan society. Libyans will not take jobs they consider “dirty”. Back in 1987 the Libyan English Department students who were our escorts talked openly about this problem. Libyan youth who finish their education will not take entry level jobs that involve any menial work. They expect to have immediate employment in well paid positions with good salaries, nice apartments and new automobiles.

The Libyan government has been forced to import hundreds of thousands of guest workers to do the “dirty work” Libyans refuse to do, first from sub-Saharan Africa, and later from Asia.

The result of this is that thousands of Libyan youth are unemployed, living at home off of their families and this parasitical existence has lead to a serious social problem. Alcohol, banned in Libya, and drug abuse among the youth has been a growing problem.

All of these diverse social problems came to a head when the Arab street began its uprising against their Western supported elite's, first in Libya’s neighbor Tunisia and then Libya’s other neighbor, Egypt.

When the first demonstrations of discontented youth took place in Benghazi the loose coalition of terrorist cells and human trafficking gangs immediately took advantage of the turmoil to attack the high security prisons outside of Benghazi where their comrades were locked up. With the release of their leadership the rebellion began attacking police stations and government offices and Benghazi residents began to wake up to the sight of dead bodies of police officers hanging from freeway overpasses

The Libyan government lead by Col. Gaddafi has always been careful to not allow a large, powerful regular army to develop, instead relying on a system of “revolutionary committees” to run local communities and oversee security in the country.

These “revolutionary committees” had never been seriously tested and were slow to respond to the rapidly spreading rebellion. Eventually the Libyan government was able to organize itself and took the offensive against the rebellion. The rebels, mostly untrained youth and loosely organized militias were driven from their newly won territory and it became apparent that their rebellion would fail. Even high ranking US intelligence officials admitted as such publicly. It is now widely recognized, at least in the Arab and African world, that the majority of Libyans support their government lead by Col. Gaddafi and that the rebellion is supported by a minority of Libyans. The end of the rebellion seemed to have become inevitable.

With the LIbyan government military forces on the outskirts of Benghazi and the rebellion seemingly doomed a decision was made in USA along with its henchmen in London and Paris to attack Libya and overthrow the Libyan government lead by Col. Gaddafi.

Libya is an oil rich nation, close to Europe, with the largest proven oil reserves on the African continent. With such an enormous prize at stake the decision was made to launch an attack on Libya, a massacre really, for there is no defense today against cruise missiles and high altitude bombing, especially when it is done only at night, to hell with civilian casualties.

After their attacks and invasions of Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia few people in the world believe the western claims of attacking Libya out of concern for preventing civilian loss of life. The USA and its European allies are taking a very dangerous gamble in attacking Libya today. With the Arab countries facing the possibility of real revolutionary situations developing, by which I mean armed revolts against their western backed elite's, the attack on Libya could eventually ignite the very explosion the west is so desperate to prevent.

It is impossible to say where the attacks on Libya by the west will lead, to a Kosovo repeat or eventual victory for the Libyan government headed by Col. Gaddafi?

The one thing that is certain is that the Libyan people will pay a steep price to keep their country, a price that will inevitably have to be paid in Libyan blood.

I am already making plans to visit Libya this time next year, hopefully as part of the 2nd US Peace Delegation to Libya. God only knows how many flowers we will need for all the graves of Libyan children killed in this latest massacre committed by the USA and it European partners.

That's it. OBL was killed a few days ago or at some time in the very recent past, and I have no trouble with that proposition.

What I can't believe are the various accounts of exactly how it happened (Details about the tactics and conduct of the raid, exactly who gave the command to attack, why on May 1, 2011 as opposed to any other date, etc.) The differences in the various details of the events is dizzying indeed.

But through all the conflicting details, one thing about Osama bin Ladin emerges as completely clear (as the reaction from the Muslim world conclusively proves):

This is such a false flag/psy-op it's ridiculous. The only good thing is the radio talk shows I heard this morning aren't buying it.

The people at work and conversations I heard in passing tell a different story, though. Amazing how willing most are to still be led around by the short hairs.

I've been trying to figure out, "why now?"

I mean, he's been dead for years. Of that, I have no doubt. So why bring him out now?

1. I like the distraction to avert attention from the birth certificate but, IMHO, the who birth certificate is a non-issue. Weve been going back and forth about that for the whole term and nothing has been done. Obama is still president, why not just keep riding the stream?

2. Re-election? If so, I think he played his hand too early. Americans have the attentions span of well...something really, really short. This will be forgotten by the time elections roll around.

3. Are we deficit spending so much in the middle east that we can now say "mission accomplished" ( again ), pack up, and come home? Well, the short answer is "yes" but since the president and the politicians work for and have the best interests of the international mega-corporations in mind and not the American people... no, that can't be the reason.

It's almost always the Hegelian Dialectic, right?

Problem -Reaction-Solution...

The reaction was trotting out the body of Osama.

The solution is a wave of popular support for Obama and a small wave of ultra-nationalism that will unite the country behind whatever law, action, or policy that Obama initiates in the short-term future.

The only thing I can come up with is that the problem, for the time being, is hidden behind the scenes.

I think in the next few days weeks we might see something major and very unpopuar happen and the support for Obama is being laid now.

False Flag angle? Didn't the royals cancel their honeymoon, abrubtly?

Capturing bin Laden 'would unleash hell'
Tue Apr 26 2011

The mastermind of the 9/11 attacks warned that al-Qaeda has hidden a nuclear bomb in Europe which will unleash a "nuclear hellstorm" if Osama bin Laden is captured, leaked files revealed.

The terror group also planned to make a 9/11 style attack on London's Heathrow airport by crashing a hijacked airliner into one of the terminals, the files showed.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed told Guantanamo Bay interrogators the terror group would detonate the nuclear device if the al-Qaeda chief was captured or killed, according to the classified files released by the WikiLeaks website.

Osama bin Laden’s Second Death
Paul Craig Roberts
May 3, 2011

If today were April 1 and not May 2, we could dismiss as an April fool’s joke this morning’s headline that Osama bin Laden was killed in a firefight in Pakistan and quickly buried at sea. As it is, we must take it as more evidence that the US government has unlimited belief in the gullibility of Americans.

Making it official. The first post Osama press conference builds the foundation for the official fairy tale.

Think about it. What are the chances that a person allegedly suffering from kidney disease and requiring dialysis and, in addition, afflicted with diabetes and low blood pressure, survived in mountain hideaways for a decade? If bin Laden was able to acquire dialysis equipment and medical care that his condition required, would not the shipment of dialysis equipment point to his location? Why did it take ten years to find him?

Consider also the claims, repeated by a triumphalist US media celebrating bin Laden’s death, that “bin Laden used his millions to bankroll terrorist training camps in Sudan, the Philippines, and Afghanistan, sending ‘holy warriors’ to foment revolution and fight with fundamentalist Muslim forces across North Africa, in Chechnya, Tajikistan and Bosnia.” That’s a lot of activity for mere millions to bankroll (perhaps the US should have put him in charge of the Pentagon), but the main question is: how was bin Laden able to move his money about? What banking system was helping him? The US government succeeds in seizing the assets of people and of entire countries, Libya being the most recent. Why not bin Laden’s? Was he carrying around with him $100 million dollars in gold coins and sending emissaries to distribute payments to his far-flung operations?

This morning’s headline has the odor of a staged event. The smell reeks from the triumphalist news reports loaded with exaggerations, from celebrants waving flags and chanting “USA USA.” Could something else be going on?

No doubt President Obama is in desperate need of a victory. He committed the fool’s error of restarting the war in Afghanistan, and now after a decade of fighting the US faces stalemate, if not defeat. The wars of the Bush/Obama regimes have bankrupted the US, leaving huge deficits and a declining dollar in their wake. And re-election time is approaching.

The various lies and deceptions, such as “weapons of mass destruction,” of the last several administrations had terrible consequences for the US and the world. But not all deceptions are the same. Remember, the entire reason for invading Afghanistan in the first place was to get bin Laden. Now that President Obama has declared bin Laden to have been shot in the head by US special forces operating in an independent country and buried at sea, there is no reason for continuing the war.

Perhaps the precipitous decline in the US dollar in foreign exchange markets has forced some real budget reductions, which can only come from stopping the open-ended wars. Until the decline of the dollar reached the breaking point, Osama bin Laden, who many experts believe to have been dead for years, was a useful bogeyman to use to feed the profits of the US military/security complex.

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts is the father of Reaganomics and the former head of policy at the Department of Treasury.

Monday, May 2, 2011The Big Lie 101: Bin Laden Assassination Story Designed to Generate Fear

They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous. -- Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda.

In the midst of the mainstream media propaganda blitz, questions still abound regarding Osama bin Laden and his alleged death. Unfortunately, the majority of Americans are quite willing to believe virtually anything they are told about bin Laden, even if it contradicts what they were told previously. But, while many are busy dancing in the streets at the news of his “death,” others hopefully have some semblance of a long-term (and even short-term) memory.

Actually, Barack Obama’s announcement that Osama bin Laden is dead should not have come as a surprise to anyone equipped with the faculties of basic memory. After all, it was only (approximately) the ninth time bin Laden has been declared dead by high-ranking government officials in the ten years since the 9/11 attacks. Obama was just adding his name to the list.

It should be noted however, that credible reports have been produced suggesting bin Laden has been dead for some time. Indeed, even as far back as shortly after 9/11.

Of the reports, the most reliable information points to the belief that bin Laden has actually been dead since late 2001, having died of what amounts to natural causes as a result of generally bad health and a history of kidney problems. Bin Laden’s deteriorating health, was evident on his many videos. They revealed, at one time, a very thin and weak bin Laden and others showed a man who apparently could not lift his left arm while still other videos showed him appearing bloated and puffy. All of these various appearance indicated the various health issues that bin Laden suffered from.

Indeed, in July of 2001, bin Laden was reported to have been admitted to an American hospital in Dubai where he was treated for kidney problems. While at the hospital, bin Laden was met by a local CIA agent who later foolishly bragged about his contact with bin Laden. These reports came from various sources including French intelligence agencies.

Shortly before 9/11, bin Laden was reported to have been admitted to a Pakistani military hospital with the full knowledge of the Pakistani ISI. This story was even reported by major mainstream news agencies such as CBS.

Yet these are not the only reports that Osama bin Laden was dead long before Obama claims to have assassinated him.

As James Corbett compiled in an excellent article for The Corbett Report entitled, Osama bin Laden Pronounced Dead . . . For the Ninth Time, evidence has repeatedly come to light suggesting that bin Laden has long been dead and that his death has been reported on numerous occasions.

Yet, considering the fact that Osama bin Laden has long existed as the ultimate bogeyman and the Emmanuel Goldstein of the real world, one would be well-advised to question any of these reports.

Within hours after the alleged killing of Osama bin Laden, photos were circulated that were reported to be those taken of bin Laden’s body shortly after he was killed. However, these photos were obviously created by photoshop and were easily proven fake. Not only that, but the photos being used had already been circulating on the web for some time, some even before Obama took office.

This is not surprising since the US government (through an organization that has direct links to the Pentagon) has produced fake bin Laden videos and audio recordings in the past. Indeed, this should call all of the reported appearances of bin Laden in to question.

Another giant red flag in this whole situation is that the body of Osama bin Laden has allegedly been buried at sea under the ridiculous justification of trying to respect for Muslim culture which requires that a person be buried within 24 hours of their death. I refer to this as “ridiculous” because the idea that the United States military is in the business of burying every person they kill in accordance with local customs is exactly that -- ridiculous.

The United States has murdered over a 1.5 million people in our current war theatres. Is it now safe to assume that each and every one of them were buried within 24 hours? Or is that an honor only reserved for the man who, according to the government, killed 3,000 people in New York and initiated the need for a war on terrorism? Keep in mind, when Uday and Qusay Hussein were killed, the photos were plastered all over the television screen endlessly. There were no concerns for Muslim culture then. That it should matter now insults the intelligence of a five-year old.

Indeed, as I read the “buried at sea” story I could not help but be reminded of the removal of debris from the World Trade Center. If the story were true, then it seems the US government would take every opportunity to confirm the identity of the most wanted man in America. Considering the recent debate over the authenticity of Obama’s birth certificate, would it not be wise to thoroughly cite and prove any information being released?

Still, considering Osama bin Laden’s usefulness as a ready-made excuse for all things military and police state, one must wonder what agenda is behind the claim of his death. Has bin Laden run his course as the bogeyman? Are we in need of a new false flag attack with a new enemy that will frighten us into giving the small remnant of our liberties away in hopes for security? Will bin Laden’s death be used as an excuse to stage a series of false flag attacks (or one big one) blamed on bin Laden’s supporters under the cover of revenge?

Indeed, the fear of revenge and reprisal are already being circulated in the mainstream media, priming the minds of the public to expect another attack.

In the end, fear is the ultimate objective. Of this there is no doubt. However, one must also wonder if the character of Osama bin Laden has simply outlived its usefulness. Considering the dwindling attention span of the general population, it is not hard to imagine that it has.

On and On, South of Heaven
US OPENLY ACCEPTS BIN LADEN LONG DEAD
December 5, 2009
BIN LADEN NEVER MENTIONED IN McCHRYSTAL REPORT OR OBAMA SPEECH
“HUNT FOR BIN LADEN” A NATIONAL SHAME
By Gordon Duff/STAFF WRITER/Senior Editor

Conservative commentator, former Marine Colonel Bob Pappas has been saying for years that bin Laden died at Tora Bora and that Senator Kerry’s claim that bin Laden escaped with Bush help was a lie. Now we know that Pappas was correct. The embarrassment of having Secretary of State Clinton talk about bin Laden in Pakistan was horrific. He has been dead since December 13, 2001 and now, finally, everyone, Obama, McChrystal, Cheney, everyone who isn’t nuts is finally saying what they have known for years.

However, since we lost a couple of hundred of our top special operations forces hunting for bin Laden after we knew he was dead, is someone going to answer for this with some jail time? Since we spent 200 million dollars on “special ops” looking for someone we knew was dead, who is going to jail for that? Since Bush, Rumsfeld and Cheney continually talked about a man they knew was dead, now known to be for reasons of POLITICAL nature, who is going to jail for that? Why were tapes brought out, now known to be forged, as legitimate intelligence to sway the disputed 2004 election in the US? This is a criminal act if there ever was one.

In 66 pages, General Stanley McChrystal never mentions Osama bin Laden. Everything is “Mullah Omar”now. In his talk at West Point, President Obama never mentioned Osama bin Laden. Col. Pappas makes it clear, Vice President Cheney let it “out of the bag” long ago. Bin Laden was killed by American troops many many years ago.

America knew Osama bin Laden died December 13, 2001. After that, his use was hardly one to unite America but rather one to divide, scam and play games. With bin Laden gone, we could have started legitimate nation building in Afghanistan instead of the eternal insurgency that we invented ourselves.

Without our ill informed policies, we could have had a brought diplomatic solution in 2002 in Afghanistan, the one we are ignoring now, and spent money rebuilding the country, 5 cents on the dollar compared to what we are spending fighting a war against an enemy we ourselves recruited thru ignorance.

The bin Laden scam is one of the most shameful acts ever perpetrated against the American people. We don’t even know if he really was an enemy, certainly he was never the person that Bush and Cheney said. In fact, the Bush and bin Laden families were always close friends and had been for many years.

What kind of man was Osama bin Laden? This one time American ally against Russia, son of a wealthy Saudi family, went to Afghanistan to help them fight for their freedom. America saw him as a great hero then. Transcripts of the real bin Laden show him to be much more moderate than we claim, angry at Israel and the US government but showing no anger toward Americans and never making the kind of theats claimed. All of this is public record for any with the will to learn.

How much of America’s tragedy is tied with these two children of the rich, children of families long joined thru money and friendship, the Bush and bin Laden clans.

One son died in remote mountains, another lives in a Dallas suburb hoping nobody is sent after him. One is a combat veteran, one never took a strong stand unless done from safety and comfort. Islam once saw bin Laden as a great leader. Now he is mostly forgotten.

What has America decided about Bush?

We know this: Bin Laden always denied any ties to 9/11 and, in fact, has never been charged in relation to 9/11. He not only denied involvement, but had done so, while alive, 4 times and had vigorously condemned those who were involved in the attack.

This is on the public record, public in every free country except ours. We, instead, showed films made by paid actors, made up to look somewhat similar to bin Laden, actors who contradicted bin Ladens very public statements, actors pretending to be bin Laden long after bin Laden’s death.

These were done to help justify spending, repressive laws, torture and simple thievery.

For years, we attacked the government of Pakistan for not hunting down someone everyone knew was dead. Bin Laden’s death hit the newspapers in Pakistan on December 15, 2001. How do you think our ally felt when they were continually berated for failing to hunt down and turn over someone who didn’t exist?

What do you think this did for American credibility in Pakistan and thru the Islamic world? Were we seen as criminals, liars or simply fools? Which one is best?

This is also treason.

How does the death of bin Laden and the defeat and dismemberment of Al Qaeda impact the intelligence assessments, partially based on, not only bin Laden but Al Qaeda activity in Iraq that, not only never happened but was now known to have been unable to happen?

How many “Pentagon Pundits,” the retired officers who sold their honor to send us to war for what is now known to be domestic political dirty tricks and not national security are culpable in these crimes?

I don’t always agree with Col. Pappas on things. I believe his politics overrule his judgement at times. However, we totally agree on bin Laden, simply disagree with what it means. To me lying and sending men to their deaths based on lies is treason.

Falsifying military intelligence and spending billions on unnecessary military operations for political reasons is an abomination. Consider this, giving billions in contracts to GOP friends who fill campaign coffers, and doing so based on falsified intelligence is insane. This was done for years.

We spent 8 years chasing a dead man, spending billions, sending FBI agents, the CIA, Navy Seals, Marine Force Recon, Special Forces, many to their deaths, as part of a political campaign to justify running American into debt, enriching a pack of political cronies and war profiteers and to puff up a pack of Pentagon peacocks and their White house draft dodging bosses.

How many laws were pushed thru because of a dead man?

How many hundreds were tortured to find a dead man?

How many hundreds died looking for a dead man?

How many billions were spent looking for a dead man?

Every time Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld stood before troops and talked about hunting down the dead bin Laden, it was a dishonor. Lying to men and women who put their lives on the line is not a joke.

Who is going to answer to the families of those who died for the politics and profit tied to the Hunt for Bin Laden?

CIA agent alleged to have met Bin Laden in JulyFrench report claims terrorist leader stayed in Dubai hospital
Thursday 1 November 2001

Two months before September 11 Osama bin Laden flew to Dubai for 10 days for treatment at the American hospital, where he was visited by the local CIA agent, according to the French newspaper Le Figaro.
The disclosures are known to come from French intelligence which is keen to reveal the ambiguous role of the CIA, and to restrain Washington from extending the war to Iraq and elsewhere.

Bin Laden is reported to have arrived in Dubai on July 4 from Quetta in Pakistan with his own personal doctor, nurse and four bodyguards, to be treated in the urology department. While there he was visited by several members of his family and Saudi personalities, and the CIA.

The CIA chief was seen in the lift, on his way to see Bin Laden, and later, it is alleged, boasted to friends about his contact. He was recalled to Washington soon afterwards.

Intelligence sources say that another CIA agent was also present; and that Bin Laden was also visited by Prince Turki al Faisal, then head of Saudi intelligence, who had long had links with the Taliban, and Bin Laden. Soon afterwards Turki resigned, and more recently he has publicly attacked him in an open letter: "You are a rotten seed, like the son of Noah".

The American hospital in Dubai emphatically denied that Bin Laden was a patient there.

Washington last night also denied the story.

Private planes owned by rich princes in the Gulf fly frequently between Quetta and the Emirates, often on luxurious "hunting trips" in territories sympathetic to Bin Laden. Other sources confirm that these hunting trips have provided opportunities for Saudi contacts with the Taliban and terrorists, since they first began in 1994.

Bin Laden has often been reported to be in poor health. Some accounts claim that he is suffering from Hepatitis C, and can expect to live for only two more years.

According to Le Figaro, last year he ordered a mobile dialysis machine to be delivered to his base at Kandahar in Afghanistan.

Whether the allegations about the Dubai meeting are confirmed or not, the wider leaks from the French secret service throw a worrying light on the rivalries and lack of coordination between intelligence agencies, both within the US and between western allies.

A familiar complaint of French intelligence is that collaboration with the Americans has been essentially one-way, with them happy to receive information while giving little in return.

I'll tell you what is true, and very sobering, because it means your establishment (Government, Politicians, the Media, the Rule of Law) is in deep, deep trouble.

Your trust is gone. Your trust has been destroyed by people that should know far better.

YOU are going to have to do something about that, and count on it, you WILL have 'doing something about that' thrust upon you. Democrat, or Republican, or Independent, or 'None of the Above', you are all in the same boat, you all need the situation to be resolved, and you all need each other to do it.

You should all be able to see by now, that you ARE having 'doing something about that' thrust upon you,

Us too, over here. Trust is gone here too. All over Europe.

There's a lot of repairing to be done, and that includes repairing bridges with each other. It isn't your fault, we have all of us been suckered, used, and abused, for a very long time now.

This will end. These follies always run their course to inevitable failure, as history shows all too clearly.

You have a perfectly good map to follow to return you all to calm waters. Your outstanding Constitution.

Keep your eyes firmly fixed on it, and you won't go far wrong.

WiseOwl, this does not seem like you. You are playing us? You have some point to prove by this poll?

"PZ, now I know how you voted, lol...but we have two folks who have swallowed the story...."

Those 2 would be Rodeorector and myself?

I agree.. Poll is slanted and serves no purpose... If you agree he is dead then she wants you to go "listen" to Alex:rolleyes:...

The poll data can not and does not include any option that expresses my POV...

BTW I do not know how to edit the thread.. So I can't help with that either..

Thanks diamonds for answering how to fix the poll. I didn't see any options to add more answers either. I can't even delete the second part of the dead for years after the no answer.

I didn't think he was killed this past week before I listened to AJ yesterday. I am firm now that he died 9 years ago. He was sick with a disease. THAT is what killed him according to the guest on the 3rd and 4th hour of AJ's program. The guest has nothing to gain from lying but is also in a position to KNOW about what really happened.
He is not a republican, democrat, libertarian, ect. He is a man who is a patriot and worked and still works for the betterment of our country.
He KNOWS all the men who have been officials in our gov plus the military higher ups. He has been privy to the same info that they have been and he stated yesterday that he also spoke/met OBL years ago.
I posted the info about the interview because it clears up how OBL could not have been killed recently because he is already dead for years now. He also threw out a LOT of information that we suspected but didn't have specifics. If you listen to Dr. Steve Piezchenik (not sure on the spelling of his last name) you will learn a lot. This man was also the man that Clancey based his character Dr. Ryan from the CIA on.
He is well respected by those in high offices and our military. He still works as a consultant to the pentagon.

Listen to him. Please. The last two hours of Alex Jone's show yesterday. It will answer questions that you may have wondered about for years.

I apologize if the poll is confusing.
I just figured if you don't believe the story coming out now, then you must think he's been dead a long time now.

I of course do not know the details of OBL's many lives and deaths but I certainly do not believe what the White House is saying now, nor do they, changing their story on major points constantly. Pathological liars and really bad at it. Pathetic joke. Disgusting.

I think that OBL is as good as dead, but not dead! The US did raid his hut but I don't think they killed him, He's somewhere in a dark corner of the world wishing he was dead. The US is going to milk him for as long as it takes to get Info about what he has planned.

.

No, she would like for you go listen to Dr. Pieczenik, who was a consultant to four presidential administrations and reports that OBL had Marfan Syndrome and died as a result back in 2001. OBL was used by the US administration to implement the police state under which we now live - where they track all our travel and communications and money transactions.

So many of you are terrified that you might find that your mindset is in error that you just demonize anyone who has a different opinion than your own. My God, they might even have evidence to back to up!!!! But you can just continue to dismiss that and live in your own paradigm.

WO, as an aside, your poll is essentially meaningless. Its language is so slanted as to be nothing more than a rant couched as a poll. If you wanted to use neutral wording, here's an example:

Was Osama killed last Monday, or was he killed some time previously?

- Last Monday

- Previously

- Other

I voted YES. I am so tired of trying to figure out all the conspirousies and connecting the dots......especially with so little to go on. My last doubt was defeated with the revealed "Birth Certificate" and even though I truly believe Obama was born in Kenya or "British East Africa Protectorate," we will NEVER know the truth or rather, the truth will NEVER be acknowledged. From here on out, I'll be concentrating on prepping and the fight to hold on what little liberties we have left!!!

I guess you did not get why the eye rolling... I have respect when someone says hey listen to this and give synopsis.. I have no problem listening to other POV on issues.. In fact IMHO a person does learn quite a bit through that method.. Gives you "food for thought" as I say to my kids..

What I have a problem with is the way it was presented.. Almost like if you believe one way that you are stupid so do yourself a favor and listen to this... IMHO there are ways to present info for people to learn from or to understand anothers POV and this was not it...

Diamonds, if you can figure out a way to fix the poll so it is a simple yes/no or possibly add other? Or someone else like Dennis can fix it that is great by me.

I was wiped out last night and posted in a hurry. I also wanted to add about Dr. Pieczenik, who is on AJ's program again today. RIGHT NOW. Just click on one of the links to listen on www.gcnlive.com and you will hear the same thing I heard yesterday. I am just trying to get the truth out there for everyone so we don't walk in circles wondering why story is true if any.

This whole thing stinks to high heaven. I had to stop listening to regular radio cause of all the inconsistancies and blatant lies of things I know didn't happen.
