When I was a youngin, back in 1961, we lived in Cartersville Ga. My Dad was the Chief Electrical Engineer at the nearby Alatoona Dam. This is about 35 miles North of Atlanta. One weekend, we went to a Farm Festival somewhere nearby. These are some pics of the very cool restored equipment. They all were working models, and even had a thresher machine that spewed out clean wheat kernels. That's me, the cute kid in the middle of the first pic with two of my brothers.

Neither here nor there.
Really nice photos, there's a thresher festival up here every year in the state of Iowa, don't remember where at the moment.

We have the Dalton and Rollag MN steam threshing shows not too far from me. They are a couple of the biggest in the country. My great granddad had a big farm down by Morris, MN and farmed with steam. He had an Aultman Taylor, one of the biggest tractors at that time.
