Awww... I thought she had some age on her. Shedding... ugh! I just spent 45 minutes trying to get the hair off Bella,
my 14 hand Quarter Horse and Ginger, the mini mare. I'm still pulling hair out of my mouth and off the sweater cuffs!

Brandy looks good for her age!

Bella is a Rabicano roan... a copper sorrel with skunk tail, white striping following her ribs, but otherwise solid sorrel. She's 14 now, and I've noticed she gets a little more white on her barrel every summer. None on her head and face, though..

When I bought her, a friend asked me to describe her color... iI said "like a polished copper kettle with frost"!

I have a friend who has a lot of those draft horses with the really thick coats, she wears a bee keeper outfit when grooming them. I kid you not!

Makes sense! When we were showing cattle, I hated clipping them for show. Hair bits *everywhere*! I finally made myself a pair of coveralls out of windbreaker nylon... they were perfect! Naturally, the guys in the barns loved to pick on me when I was wearing them (most of them clipped bare chested and then showered at the wash rack!) I finally looked one of them in the eye and said, "hey! When you have the problem of getting hair stuck in your bra, you can criticize!" He turned bright red, and that was the end of the subject!
