Pests/Ctrl Green Bean Plants having Problems

I'll try to get a photo but my green bean plants have huge patches of beige on them, it looks like the leaves are dead in those spots. Fungus, pest, too much rain? I really want to have green beans this year for canning. TIA

PW, my sister told me that Dollar General has had their own brand of canned green beans on sale for the last couple of weeks. She said they are really good beans. Not sure but I think she said they are normally 65 cents a can and were on sale for 50 cents. Not sure of that, though, but they were lots cheaper than I remember canned vegetables being lately. I' don't buy them myself...that's why I'm not sure.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll check the prices at Aldi and the price at Dollar General next week, it's in the next town over.

I wonder if it's related/similar to blight in nightshades? Fungal, if that's the case. If so, a copper spray should help, as they don't look that bad yet. I'll have to research it... I've never seen blight in beans...

Those are some good clear pictures. The broccoli I planted in late spring in my greenhouse got huge white patches exactly like that. Since it gets so hot in my greenhouse once winter's over, I thought it was sun scald.

The sun is different the last few years so it wouldn't surprise me a bit if it's causing this, at least on my own plants. Broccoli, liking cooler temps, I suspect would be more susceptible to anything in a super-hot greenhouse.

I’ve seen blight in soybean fields out this way, not sure what they used to kill it off, typically it’s brought onto 5he plants by aphids, but I’m not seeing any evidence of aphids. And thank you for the help, I’m baffled by this one.

I wondered about sun scald as well, I should have picked a leaf and photographed the back side, the stems of these plants look healthy.

Looks like a sunscald or fertilizer burn. doesn't look like a fungal or insecf.

Assuming the weather has changed. They will be fine.
