They compromise their own expectation of privacy by their behavior. They are in a PUBLIC park. The pictures taken of them are not being used to make fun of them or anything else. They are not being altered. They are public figures that plan on making money off of their public figure-ness or whatever stupid thing they call it. Therefore, in these circumstances, there is not expectation of the kind of privacy they are expecting. If they were on private land or in a private home then they'd have a case.

They are trying to create law. Too bad Markle, not happening. You don't want pics of yourself showing up, stay out of public places and out of the public eye and give up the idea of a brand. You can't have privacy and be an attention whore at the same time. The physics just don't work.

‘Kids that don’t fail are normally frugal.' Wealth advisers say Meghan and Harry’s lifestyle already raises red flags

But financial experts who have counseled wealthy families say the reports about the couple’s first financial moves as an independent royals raise classic warning signs. Chief among them: Reports that the couple is looking to buy a mansion in Vancouver on the market for $36 million Canadian dollars ($27 million in U.S. dollars), already dubbed a “Megha-Mansion” by the British press.

Basically the author is predicting that the Markles will never reach financial independence and will likely be sucking on Daddy Charles' teet for life.

Meghan Markle wants to become more 'politically engaged' and could even intervene in the U.S. presidential election

With courtiers already alarmed at how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to cash in on their royal connections, this will have them reaching for the smelling salts.

I hear that Meghan plans to become more 'politically engaged' now that she and Prince Harry have quit official duties.

'The Duchess is said to be frustrated that she was forced to stay out of politics after getting engaged to Harry,' a royal source tells me.

'She has strong political opinions and will now take advantage of the greater freedom she has to express them publicly.'

The source claims that Meghan may even make some sort of intervention in the U.S. presidential election later this year.

Before she met Harry, the American actress attacked Donald Trump for being 'divisive' and 'misogynistic'.

While the Duchess no longer needs to adhere to the convention that the royals stay above party politics, she could still provoke a diplomatic storm if she chose to renew her attacks on Trump or become involved in politics in Canada, where she and Harry are now living with baby Archie.

Meghan is a close friend of Jessica Mulroney, the daughter-in-law of Canada's former prime minister Brian Mulroney.

She is also pals with Canada's current PM, the Liberal Party's Justin Trudeau.

The Duke and Duchess have formed a close bond with Barack and Michelle Obama, while their communications secretary, Sara Latham, previously worked for Trump's sworn rival Hillary Clinton.

In 2018, it was claimed that Meghan had once told a close associate that her ultimate ambition was to be president of the U.S. The conversation apparently took place after Meghan began her romance with Harry.

'Meghan was quite clear that she wanted to be president one day,' the source claimed.

Three years earlier, she reportedly told the journalist Piers Morgan that she had not always sought showbusiness success.

'As a kid, I wanted to be either the president or a news broadcaster like you,' she told him.

Former Times editor Sir Simon Jenkins has said: 'Her friends and associates affirm that she is a political animal. Such is her fame, she could perfectly well follow a route taken by a certain Ronald Reagan. She might lead for the Democrats against a Republican Ivanka Trump. All I can say is, why not?'

Meghan's spokeswoman declines to comment. However, a source close to the Duchess dismisses the claims that she will become more politically active as mere 'gossip'.

However, just weeks ago those same sources would have dismissed out of hand suggestions that Harry and Meghan would ever quit the Firm to pursue their own commercial projects.

Royal family prepping for Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s possible UK return
By Lee Brown
January 26, 2020 | 3:50pm

They’re pushing for a royal return.

Worried senior royals are prepping a possible UK haven for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — fearing they are so “fragile” after Megxit they may come running back to Britain, according to a report Sunday.

“The palace [is] very worried about the Sussexes, because they are vulnerable outside the embrace of the family,” a source close to the royal household told The Sunday Times of London.

“They are making contingency plans in case the Sussexes suddenly turn round and say: ‘Can we come back under your wing?’”

Harry’s dad, heir to the throne Prince Charles, and brother, Prince William, are both “reaching out” to see if they want to return, stressing the couple would still be free of royal duties, the source said.

“They are phoning him and trying to talk to him and extending a friendly hand,” the source said of their attempts to “rebuild the relationship” amid concerns of the severe strain Harry is under.

Insiders believe the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s plans “disintegrated” over the backlash against Megxit as well as the intense media scrutiny they are facing in their current home in Vancouver Island in Canada.

“What is happening is that they are being told that there is love and affection on standby,” the source said, revealing that a number of potential secluded UK hideaways are being offered for the couple and baby son Archie.

“Everybody agrees that this is a fragile couple. Nobody is going to say, no they can’t come back,” the source said.

“They wouldn’t return to royal duties, but they could have a period of rehabilitation and recuperation,” the source said.

It comes amid other reports claiming that before their 2018 royal wedding, the couple had been offered a life free of royal duties — but rejected it.

Queen Elizabeth II was happy for them to forego the offered Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles, in part to allow “Suits” star Meghan to continue acting if she wanted, according to The Sun.

“From the early days, the Queen really wanted to agree [on] a smooth transition for Meghan,” a source told the paper.

“The offer would have allowed her to carry on her career but she was happy to stop acting to become a working member of the royal family,” the source said.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment.

The reality is that Markle's very liberal, American attitude needed to change and allow for an at least semi-conservative British culture. She was marrying into a family not the other way around. The fact that this family holds a particular place for the UK at large and their own history in particular was also something she had the responsibility to accept and deal with constructively so that people didn't get hurt. Her choices no longer just effect her but her husband and his family … who happen to be part of the British monarchy ... and the British taxpayer. She appears to have wanted the perks without the responsibilities that come with them.

She has her good points, unfortunately, hey didn't mesh well with the royal family traditions. As I said before, I think they handled this (Harry and Meghan) very badly, on the other hand, there are rumors of things going on behind the scenes that make me cautious about being totally condemning of them.

The most interesting (to me) is a very strong rumor that legally the Queen could take custody of Archie and MAY have threatened to do so (or one of the palace "minders" might have suggested it).

If there is any truth to that at all, Meghan's almost midnight escape with her son makes perfect sense and honestly,I might have done exactly the same thing IF that actually is the case, which we will probably never know.

And while Canada is a Commonwealth country and the Queen might legally be able to demand custody over Archie - first it would have to go through Canadian Social services or whatever and it would become a HUGE story that again could topple the monarchy.

Instead, they "make plans" for Harry and Meghan to "return to the UK" at some point, which suggests whatever is going on is still under discussion.

Really that this point, the public just isn't likely to know much unless someone seriously blows a whistle and/or 40 years from now when the stuff gets released in the archives.

'Financially independent' Meghan and Prince Harry bank $515K speaking at JP Morgan banking summit
by Spencer Neale

Newly released of their obligations to the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were paid handsomely to speak at a multinational banking summit in their pursuit to become "financially independent."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex earned more than $500,000 for appearing at the JP Morgan banking conference Alternative Investment Summit held at Miami's South Beach’s 1 Hotel, where rooms cost up to $5,000 a night. Held in December, the appearance marked the couple's first public appearance since a fallout with the royal family after they announced their intentions to "step back" from royal duties.

Harry and Meghan's appearance at the annual summit, which has hosted millionaire guests such as former baseball player Alex Rodriguez and Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, was kept "hush-hush" for security purposes.

Ronn Torossian, CEO of New York public relations firm 5WPR, told Metro that "the event is a massive win for JP Morgan."

"There is no celebrity in the world hotter than them. The Obamas? You alienate some Republicans. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West can’t hold a candle," said Torossian. "Meghan and Harry have huge earning potential. From book deals to brand endorsements, to appearances, their opportunities are unlimited."

The couple reportedly stayed at the mansion of tennis star Serena Williams, and Harry's speech touched on how his mother Princess Diana's death affected his childhood. Meghan has been living in Canada since leaving the United Kingdom. Last week, Madonna offered them her New York City apartment to sublet.

Another site had their fee at 1 million, this is shades of Bill Clinton when he left the Presidency broke and within a couple of years they will multi-millionaires from a combination of speaking fees and sitting on "boards."

I expect Harry and Meghan will also get such fees, I just hope they manage their money well because even billionaires can go bankrupt, just ask Donald Trump (who came back from it).

Vastly rich people all partying together, swapping money. How cozy. Half a mil for talking about Diana.

They live on another planet.
