Have a ruined one in the yard. Gonna scrap it. Hope to do some rv'ing in the future when life is less chaotic.

We had one when the kids were younger on our last trip we had noticed a huge chunk of the floor had gone soft. When my brother went to fix it we found out it was more extensive than we thought so we just gave it to him. We bought an old ford econoline van that the plan was to fix it up and go on road trips with (some hotels some camping) but that thing is still sitting outside half done…. Hubby lost motivation!! It’s been a couple years sitting now. I want to Rv, maybe in a couple more years we will buy a new to us one and travel the US again.

Now on our 5th year of spending 3-4 months in Az in our tincan. Got a bigger one last year with more solar. Now have starlink so good inet. Most days batteries are recharged by 1pm. Camped on blm land for cheap. Will move to Quartzfest site next week, then back up the road to enjoy the sun.

I'm in Qld, Australia. I'm facing retirement in 5 years or so, with f.a. savings to supplement the age pension. We have the 2032 Olympics coming up and I suspect that the rents will be such that "average wage earners" will not be able to afford accommodation anywhere near the city.
I'm planning on buying a Toyota Coaster bus and fitting it out as a camper.
I just hope I have enough time and money to complete it before the proverbial hits the rotating oscillator.

Just bought a 30' Palomino Puma bunkhouse with slide outs. It has the electric stabilizer & tongue jacks, outdoor kitchen and power awning.

We are planning on a cross-country trip this June. Leaving from Indiana, down to SpaceX launch site near Boca Chica and then on to Southern Oregon for my baby brothers wedding.

This is my first travel trailer and any advice from any members that have been doing this for a while would be great.

Also if anyone wants to arrange any meetups PM me. My mom the "theoriginaldeb" on TB2K will be along for this trip.

99 31' Airstream Excella Classic. Custom made. We purchased this in Oct of 19 after selling the house. Full timing ever since.

Across the desert and over the mountains we go. We passed thru 5 states in the southwest in the last year.

Currently wintering in Arizona. Heading to Texas to look at land soon.
We are now up to 30 states in four years. Last year we stayed 45 weeks in Thousand Trails parks with our only cost being the annual maintenance fee about a grand. Cheap living.
