What's the TOTAL monetary sum that Obama's policies have personally cost to you?

Due directly to Obama's policy's:

Have you lost income from a job or business?

Have you lost money in savings or retirement accounts?

Have you had an increase in fuel or electric costs?

Have you had an increase in expenses for healthcare and insurance?

Have you had an increase in any Federal taxes? (tobacco)

Have you had an increase in any Federal fines or fees?

Have you been stolen from by the TSA?

Have your unemployed relatives or friends cost you to help them out?

Let's get a sampling of how much the Obama administration's policies have cost the average citizen.

Tally up all your losses and expenses related to Obama's policies during the past 4 years and vote.

This poll is set to private votes.

It's hard to say exactly. Savings have taken a significant hit in lack of interest, the money invested in mutual funds has dropped by about a third, interest on IRAs has been stagnant. But, prices on everything have been increasing at fairly high rates of inflation. Gasoline and groceries, which items we need, have led the flock. Cheap, toxic, imports have stayed low, helping the PTB to say the rate of inflation is low.

But the worst of his policies will take effect after the election, so that many of the fools who elected him will think he's not so bad. BTW, the economy wasn't doing so badly until after Jan. of 2007, when the Dems took control of both houses of congress.

Oh, and my out of pocket expenses on my insurance increased by a third, and the co-pay for office visits increased by about 15%.

That's not counting the loss of my job at the beginning of his "reign." If you count the lost income from that, it would be much higher.

There is both direct and indirect costs. The largest cost has been the loss of potential income as Garryowen pointed out. Also with so many small business people have to close their doors or lay off people the indirect costs are almost incalculatable.

I voted $16 to $25 thousand, figuring increase in insurance premiums and higher out of pocket costs. Plus the loss of DH's annual bonuses from work and general price increases at the store and pump.

But I forgot about our decrease in net worth which actually puts us in the $51,000 to $75,000 range.

Between $6000 and $8000 in fuel costs alone. Add in food, energy, insurance, loss of business due to slow recovery, my family is taking a hit of 50-60k per year. No savings left, no retirement left, living paycheck to paycheck.
Thanks bambam, and those that chose to vote against Romney.
