The State Department has added 5 terrorist leaders to the Global Terrorist list, and all five are in Africa:

WASHINGTON —The State Department on Friday announced the addition of five alleged Islamist militants to its Specially Designated Global Terrorist list, requiring the blocking of any ownership or interests in U.S. properties they hold.

The designations also expose to possible U.S. sanctions individuals or foreign financial institutions who engage in certain transactions with the five.

They include Bonomade Machude Omar, the senior military commander of Islamic State’s affiliate in Mozambique, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement. Omar led a group of extremists who killed dozens of people in an attack on the Amarula Hotel in the town of Palma in March, Blinken said.

He also is responsible for attacks elsewhere in Mozambique and in Tanzania, Blinken said.

Sidang Hitta and Salem Ould al-Hasan, senior leaders of Mali-based al Qaeda-linked Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin, also were designated, as were Ali Mohamed Rage and Abdikadir Mohamed Abdikadir, leaders of the al Shabaab group of Somalia, Blinken said.

Neither here nor there.
Islam is growing in leaps and bounds in Africa. China will most likely take care of the issue once their investments get damaged or lost. I do not expect things to end well for any locals in the way either.

The chinese are using the muslims to kill off the christians, once they're all dead/gone then they will go after the muslims. I have a friend that lives in Africa, missionary, and she's witnessing this first hand.

I have family members, that were missionaries in Africa.

Some of what they experienced even back then, indicated to me,
that most Africans view Christianity, as being the White man's religion,
and therefore they are very open, to the teachings of Islam,
not only in Africa, but especially now in the ZUSA.

All that will happen in regards to the ZUSA, is that refugees from
these 3rd world hellholes, will be given preferential treatment,
when they migrant to the ZUSA, which is an absolute certainty.

Please be safe everyone. Realize and know that the end is now here.

Regards to all.

I posit that the US will still try to get itself involved somehow. The Left seems pathologically hooked on launching wars it doesn't want to fight or know how to fight. Witness Clinton's disaster in Somalia. I can just see Biden's puppeteers deciding that it would be ideal to send a steady stream of undertrained soldiers, constrained by typically-political ROE, into the meatgrinder of Africa to be shredded. It's a bonus to them that doing so would put the US military in direct contact with the Chinese military, with all the myriad possibilities for misunderstandings and chances for inadvertent shootings that would bring.

I forsaw that as a possibility. But I do not see it being really feasible with all the manufacturing bottlenecks. We dumped how much equipment in Afghanistan we will never get back?

Since when has something as trivial as operational capability ever stopped the Left from embroiling us in unnecessary conflict? They'll just claim it's the "new" kind of conflict that isn't fought with heavy armor and massive supply convoys. It'll be small fire teams, they'll drag all the HMMWVs out of storage, and probably the Mutts too, and they'll send the troops out to establish fire bases in the jungle.

Heck, there are enough factions and enough current manufacturers of AKs to let the bunch of them sort themselves out given enough time. That being said, I don't think the West would be able to stand the cell phone video of the sausage making process.

Then there's this.....

With that much in the ground, letting Jihadis have control of it and get the payday from it is just asking for trouble.

Affica, crap infrastructure and tech capabilities.

Many, many things can transpire there without the world being aware...

Even if the world really cared/

Transpose the map of the rare earth minerals over the one for hotspots. there is where they will be placing their "fireteams". Perpetuating this modern hell on earth technology is all. We fought the last several for texaco and Exxon, this one will be fought to keep the phones and puters going. Oh, and the next iteration of skynet (spit).
