ISIS Mufti Shifa al-Nima has been arrested. He was one of the main figures to order the butchering, executions, enslavement, rape, kidnapping and sale of non-Muslims and Muslims that opposed ISIS. He couldn’t fit in a police car, so they carried him in a pickup truck.

A massively obese ISIS “mufti” was pulled from his hiding place by elite Iraqi SWAT team members in a raid on Thursday. He is considered one of the biggest captures in recent months. Photos show the tremendously large man was too large to fit in a police car and had to put in the back of a police vehicle, wedged between a mounted machine gun and the back of the lorry. He was carted off to prison.

1) 300 pounds was a LONG time ago. (I've moved 300 pounders and mos of 'em were still ambulatory. Now 300 KILOS would be another story.
2) One of the hospitals I have worked in has a SPECIFIC forklift JUST FOR FOLKS with this avoirdupois distribution affliction. It's painted hot pink.
3) And no, SWAT did NOT drag him out of his lair. Not without some heavy lift capabilities. Glad I had NOTHING to do with THAT transport.

Forklift glued to the front of an APC? I agree that these folks need extreme measures to get from point A to point B. I imagine those measures might not have been comfortable for Mr. Mufti the Hut. Oh well.

"The Swat Regiment of the Nineveh Police Command based on accurate information was able to arrest an ISIS Mufti, Shifa Al-Nima, known as (Abu Abdul-Bari) who was a preacher in a number of mosques in the city of Mosul and is known for his incitement speeches against the security forces, explaining that he was a member of ISIS organization during the ISIS invasion of the city of Mosul.

The statement added that he is among the top leaders in ISIS organization, and he is responsible for issuing fatwas regarding the execution of a number of scholars and clerics who refrained from pledging allegiance to ISIS, and for issuing a fatwa to bomb the Mosque of Prophet Yunus, pointing out that he was arrested in the neighborhood of Al-Mansour on the right side of the city of Mosul."

Yeah my Dad weight nearly 500 pounds when he died (rare for that era) and he looked about the same - except he was a lot cleaner and better care for, my Mother loved him.

My oldest daughter’s first husband weighed around five hundred pounds when they married. Granted, he was several inches over six feet, and carried it a little better than this guy. The kids said he was up to around seven hundred pounds three or four years ago. Personal hygiene definitely takes a hit, but there are also medical problems. DD said she was cleaning and caring for multiple lesions all the time. He could (and did several times) lose fifty pounds and you couldn’t even tell. The divorce was because of abuse, but the weight issues didn’t help.

Now they will send him to the weight loss clinic at Guantanamo and in 6 years (post Trump) the next Democrat will trade him for hostages and he will be on the front line killing Americans
