POL Kristi Noem Shot Her Dog and Political Future in the Head

For those you who were raised on the farm, or farm now, you know there is no tolerance for uncontrollable dogs. My grandpa had to put more than one dog down. And sounds like the dog had an aggressive streak. People don't like their livestock messed with or killed. She was actually quite responsible in this case. At least according to rural life in the midwest.
I'm with you on this. It is distasteful, but from the bit I read above, it seems like the dog got excited and got a case of blood lust, killing just for the heck of it, which is never a good thing. I hate it, but I think she probably did the right thing. An animal that starts killing other animals for sport and snaps at humans is not the right fit for most farms.

My dod proves different. She was a trained military dog. After proper training she be ame a great house dog. People don't think and they give up too easily.

Dang. Philly could've lost a 'Grow in that tussle. I can't tell if he jumped into that fray to try and save his own dog or just trying to stop the pack from rampaging. Once he went down, I thought it was all over for him.

My first impression was that the animal control officer sure seemed to take his sweet time before he started taking down dogs. I suspect that feral packs are going to be a big menace in the urban/suburban areas in The Coming Unpleasantness when they're turned loose because their owners can't feed them.
