Misc Leatherworking Tools

I need to make a couple straps for the fan mill I am restoring. I haven't done much leatherworking since Boy Scouts. I can improvise but I figure this is a good opportunity to pick up some leatherworking tools for the future. Looking for a list of basic leatherworking tools to get. Things to make and repair belts, harness etc. I found a couple Chinese kits on Ebay but I doubt the quality is good.

Tandy is the name I always hear. They have basic kits. We have always been planning to get a kit, but haven't quite gotten around to it yet.

I ordered one of the Chinese kits. Figure it is worth a shot. I looked at Tandys kits but I didn't see just a basic tool set. They do offer a military discount for vets and military.

They have a basic kit. Their catalog is over 500 pages, I suggest ordering one to have to look at, there's more in the catalog than they have in their online store.
