BRKG Main Campus Protest thread... Spreading to more campuses AND BEYOND post #816

Country exile in the city
Meanwhile, at University of Alabama…
@CollinRugg

JUST IN: Trump supporters & pro-Palestine protesters appear to find some common ground as both sides start chanting "F**k Joe Biden!"

Joe Biden *is* uniting our country. Remarkable. The incident reportedly happened at the University of Alabama as documented by @MavenNavarro1.

The protests at Alabama were relatively tame compared to the rest of the country.

Students demanded that the school stop allowing Lockheed Martin to recruit on campus, release a statement calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and more.

Didn't it start out a bit of that way for Czar Alexander?

But then, Lenin was waiting in the wings.............

There is nothing organic about this as some buddy dropped big dollar in a purchase order for the same green tents on every campus.

The female student above at NU is a designated volunteer media co ordinator in neon vest. Same was going on at UW campus this morning. They are the only ones allowed to speak to any media. Contrast with all past protests and kids would talk to anyone with a film camera. Viral vids the goal.

Also someone with deep pocket$ ordered a metric shit ton of black and white keffiyeh scarves nationwide as they have been handed out freely to attendees to put on to hide identity and display solidarity. Made in India were they?

NYPD Chief of Patrol’s response to a far left NYC City Council member’s statement on what happened at Columbia & CCNY last night.

@NYPDChiefPatrol

I started to read this garbage and quickly realized this is coming from a person who hates our city and certainly does not represent the great people of NYC. But I did manage to play the word replacement game, and it goes like this:

Last night’s criminal conduct by entitled non accountable students and the support they receive from Councilmember Tiffany Caban is a colossal disgrace. A horrifying affront to democracy and proper behavior from people who are not accountable for their behavior. This was an abject failure of how civilized people are expected to behave in society while continually acting like a perpetual victim.

Remember everyone , if you want change , seek the change you want by getting involved. Then you know what to do….

BREAKING: UCLA police just declared on a loudspeaker that the UCLA encampment is unlawful and that everyone must leave the area. They say that those who do not leave may be subject to arrest. Encampment cheered. We continue to see a large amount of law enforcement gathering.

May be subject to arrest? How about will be arrested and if they create a problem and fail to follow orders their heads get bounced a few times to help change their minds and attitudes.

Nope, not at all.

As we've documented for years- I guess decades now- the organizations draw their membership, funding, training tactics and objectives from a global group- I think we have even documented them using the same training manuals as far back as the colour revolutions

- not to say that some of those participating aren't genuine, naive believers who think they're doing something meaningful and organic, and not being forced into the killing chute like stoopid sheep on the way to slaughter.

From the complaint: There is a legal chasm between independent advocacy and knowingly serving as the propaganda and recruiting wing of a Foreign Terrorist Organization in the United States. AMP and NSJP are the latter. They are not innocent advocacy groups, but rather the propaganda arm of a terrorist organization operating in plain sight.

Big news. I'm not familiar with the other law firms, but Greenberg Traurig is the 14th highest grossing law firm in the US with a strong reputation to uphold, and assumedly would not have taken on this lawsuit without substantial due diligence ensuring that the claims were at least plausible. Greenberg Traurig, National Jewish Advocacy Center, Schoen Law Firm, and Holtzman Vogel Represent American and Israeli Victims of Hamas Oct. 7 Terrorist Attack in Lawsuit Against AJP Educational Foundation, Inc. a/k/a American Muslims for Palestine and National Students for Justice in Palestine | News | Greenberg Traurig LLP

NEW YORK – May 1, 2024 – Representing a group of victims of the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas terror attack on Israel, global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, the National Jewish Advocacy Center, the Schoen Law Firm, and the Holtzman Vogel law firm have filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern Division of Virginia, Alexandria Division, against AJP Educational Foundation Inc. a/k/a American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) and National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP).

The lawsuit, which seeks compensatory damages for nine American and Israeli victims of the attack in which Hamas killed 1,200 people and took 240 people hostage, alleges that AMP and NSJP work in the United States as collaborators and propagandists for Hamas. Hamas is a United States designated Foreign Terrorist Organization. The suit also notes that AMP and NSJP are merely the current version of several prior entities that were already determined by the U.S. government to be supporters of Hamas.

CNN is reporting that Three Law Enforcement Agencies will Participate in tonight’s Storming of the Pro-Hamas Encampment at UCLA; with the LAPD being charged with Securing the Perimeter around the Encampment, while CHP will Storm and Clear the Encampment of its Occupants. While this is occurring, LASD will be charged with Crowd Control for the roughly 1,000 Pro-Hamas Supporters and other Demonstrators that have arrived beyond the Police Barricades.

Order to disperse given a few minutes ago.
Cops have riot gear and helmets and face shields on, but faceshields are up for the moment. (they said when cops lower the face shield then they expect that is when the cops will go in)

Rioters are all putting helmets and faceshields on.

Order given again to leave, but almost all have stayed.

crowd suddenly got loud just a minute ago

ABC7 taking a helicopter refueling break, said they will be back later

A flashbang went off on other side of encampment and all the protesters rushed to other side. (Bill Melugen sp?) thinks the police have started moving in on far side of encampment.

ETA: 3:35 AM CDT
I have seen some scuffles between some people with yellow vests on, but don't think that was cops. A large number of police are still coming in; a sheriffs special unit is supposedly on its way.

LAPD is now within outer limits of camp per tweets from protesters, but, mostly nothing happening that can be seen.
Protesters sent out call/tweets asking for reinforcements.

Police giving another dispersal warning.

LAPD is now retreating from the far side where they had entered in from; protesters cheering. (foxnews not sure why, if they are just repositioning or if some other reason)

Apparently the protesters on social media called for aid and large numbers of supporters are out side of the scene with the police in the middle.

Interviewing a retired sergeant from LAPD and he is claiming that a lot of these 'protesters' are not students but are activists that have been brought in and organized by people unknown.

A lot of Palestinian flags around but no American flags to be seen. Just like in the U.S. Congress all the Ukrainian flags flying instead of the U.S. flags.

The NYPD released a photo of a chalkboard inside Hamilton Hall of @Columbia.

You can see a security plan (left), quotes (middle) and a scenario plan for the arrival of the police (right).

One quote reads, “Political power comes from the barrel of the gun.” This is a famous statement by the founder of the People’s Republic of China Chairman Mao Zedong. Mao, a Marxist, is responsible for an estimated 40-80 million deaths due to starvation, prison labor and mass executions.

Pro-Hamas had a thought-out and deliberate plan. We are thankful that the NYPD stepped in and was able to restore civility. The campus remains terrorist free within its gates.

Faithful Steed
George Floyd "Summer of Love" took benefit by its "dispersal" and a generally "Blue" trend in American MEEDIA.

It also had a motivating sympathetic force (i.e. anti-racism) which took media stage BEFORE all the facts got out (i.e. Floyd being already effectively dead from drug overdose before Chauvin put his knee to his neck to subdue him.)

In this case there is a motivating anti-sympathetic force of anti-semitism, which does not generally get good play in American MEEDIA, not to mention MOST Americans connect it with Nazism -

The Democrats may wish that Palestine Liberation can occur - but they forget that a contest has been underway between Arabs and Jews for 2000 years. And while they may wish to support the "underdogs" in this fight (Israel is head and shoulders above anything Palestinian or Hamas militarily) their support is really wasted.

AND - the Marxists in control of the US Democratic Party see the unrest as a good thing. Much akin to the 1968 Chicago Anti-War Riots/DNC Convention - which will get a redux this summer.

But the point is not to support the Palestinians - rather to foment the unrest.

While most of the DNC is composed of Marxists - most of the Blue City Managers are still Hubert Humphrey Democrats. They are the ones who have to live with the unrest. A George Floyd "Summer of Love" managed for a time to enlist both of these sub-groups, but a Palestinian Summer of Love is unlikely to occur except for the most DNC of assembly.
