May 2019 Planting Guide

1st - 2nd
Poor planting. Fine for cultivating or spraying.
3rd - 4th
First day is a good day for transplanting. First day is also when planted root crops will yield well. Second day is favorable for planting beans, corn, cotton, tomatoes,
5th - 7th
Any seed planted now will tend to rot.
8th - 9th
Plant seedbeds and flower gardens. Most favorable for corn, cotton, okra, beans, peppers, eggplant, and other aboveground crops.
10th - 13th
A barren period. Favorable for killing plant pests, cultivating, or taking a short vacation.
14th - 15th
Favorable time for sowing hay, fodder crops, and grains. Plant flowers. Excellent time for planting corn, beans, peppers, and other aboveground crops.
16th - 17th
Plant seedbeds. Excellent for planting aboveground crops, and planting leafy vegetables.
18th - 20th
Seeds planted now will do poorly and yield little.
21st - 22nd
Plant late beets, potatoes, onions, carrots, and other root crops.

im not sure about your dates to plant. I already have 400 onions in the ground, 72 tomatoes plants and24 green peppers, have been in the ground mabye 10 days already, growing good. going to plant 4 packages of cucumbers tomorrow,

Same here shooter, I’ve yet to plant anything and as for the go dates it’s supposed to be raining hard here. This is from the farmers almanac and I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it eventually. May need to bring in other planting resources.
