Food New gluten free Mac and cheese

I made it to an Aldi's over the weekend while visiting my son. I was very excited to see that they now have their own brand of gluten free macaroni and cheese! It's $1.49, about $1.00 less than the Annie's brand, which is all we have around here. I bought 3 boxes, and fixed one for lunch at my sons house. I figured if it was good, I would go back and get more. It was so good I couldn't believe it! I went back and bought a dozen more. I think Annie's brand is gross, and won't eat it. I fixed a box yesterday, and even my picky grandson liked it !

Neither here nor there.
Aldi's gluten free pasta is Barilla (there are four brands of pasta within the Barilla Group) brand just in case anyone was wondering, they make here in town, some of it's really good and some of it not so good so buy a box and try it first to see if you like it or not.

Walmart just introduced their own brand of gluten free Mac and cheese. It's just as good, and possibly even a little better than Aldi's brand. And it's only $1.28 a box.

I have recently gone gluten free and have lost 3 pounds in 2 days...who knew gluten was making me so bloated!

We tried some of the Aldi's GF line and my son really liked it. Since he's picky I was thrilled. Unfortunately they said it's a special buy unless they get enough interest. So send them an email and let them know you liked it.

Ours is carrying the GF pastas and foods permanently now.

I just checked a Walmart box. The pasta is made of rice, but the ingredients say it contains maltodextrin made from corn. I looked, and Aldi's brand has it too, but it doesn't say if it's corn based.

the pasta at Aldi's is corn based and it isn't nearly as good as the rice based pasta.
