Just a little fun from the past.

I love the new RV forum but I'm getting jealous looking and all of the beautiful rigs. I've always wanted to just go on the road and get lost for a couple of months with no schedule to follow. I've never even seen Yellowstone or Yosimite. It seems that when I have money I don't have the time and when I have the time I don't have the money.

In today's world, the FDA SWAT team would have arrested Mickey for engaging in "interstate commerce" in raw milk....

If you ever want to watch a great funny rv movie...The Long Long Trailer is a must. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez. You will roll!

RV with Robin Williams is another one, but still not as good as The Long Long Trailer...

That Mickey cartoon was cute. Now, if mobile homes could really do all that neat space saving stuff! Course when you put Goofy in charge of the driving, what do you expect?! :)

Lucy and Desi were great as were most of the old stuff. I miss the morals and simplicity of living from days long past.

There is always the Tent Camping and it's cheeper in many ways and there some nice equipment today to make it easier and more comfortable than it was in the past.

Thank you Shygirl, I really enjoyed that. I wish things were that easy.
Want to enjoy travelling in an RV without the commitment? Try this:
http://www.cruiseamerica.com/rent/

When 2 of us couples flew to Alaska we rented one of these RV's in Anchorage for two weeks, drove all the way up to Fairbanks and back, stopping different places on the way, even camping at Denali. We liked it so much got ourselves an RV and camped all over Canada and the US. Still like camping but don't go as far anymore, but still go. It is also handy to have for guests who come to visit as they feel a little more independent but still get to visit you!!!
