posted before improving contrast. here is improved version...

digital B&W often need increased contrast setting, color pics often benefit from at least mildly increased color saturation.

Very nice picture. It brought me memories of the house my family lived in for a couple of years in Ohio when I was a kid. Rural farm house, hidden stairway and a well pump just like that at the kitchen sink.

It reminds me of my great grandmother's kitchen outside of Rolla, Missouri. She had a pump at her sink as well as a big one right outside the kitchen. Great shot!
