Reasonable Rascal

Member Weps asked me to list the contents of my personal response bag as carried in my car and to gun shows and other such events. The list is not complete because I didn't bother to go out and drag it inside to go through it. Not to mention I am planning very soon to upgrade my bag to something larger and more capable, and modularized like my commercial industrial trauma kits. I need to carry a glucometer again, having had need of one twice now at gun shows.
What I carry is based on my experiences over the decades as well as my skill level: I am an actively licensed Paramedic and Registered Nurse. I am not authorized to carry IV fluids and such under normal circumstances but were I to go back-country where aid could be many hours or even a couple days away I would. Along with a minor surgery kit, sutures, staples, etc. Not to mention a medication module. But that is not for this thread.
Right now all of this fits inside a standard shoulder or hand carry bag of about 14" x 10" x 10". Roughly.
Rascal’s Emergency Bag
Gloves, Nitrile, 6 pairs
Trauma Shears
Tourniquet, Combat Type
Stethoscope, Dual Head
Adult BP Cuff
Pulse Oximeter, Nonin Onyx II, Milsurp
GI Manual Field Suction
Micro Pocket BVM
Nasalpharyngeal Airway, 28 French
Chest Decompression Needles, 1 each 14 and a10 ga
CPR Pocket Mask
Israeli Bandages, 1 each 6” and 4”
QuickClot Combat Gauze, XL
Compressed Gauze
4x4 Gauze Pads, 10 pairs
4” Gauze Rollers, 2 each
4” Persys Elastic Wrap
Blizzard Trauma Hypothermia Blanket
Necklite Moldable Brace
36” Malleable Aluminum Splint
Trauma Dressing, 10” x 30”
7-1/2” x 8” ABD Pads, 4 each
Waterjel-type Burn Dressings, 2 or 3 sizes
Somewhere in there is a bottle of hand sanitizer as well.
Not carried in my bag is my personal AED, and a LifeVac anti-choking device. Yeah, I had a choker last year, the first show I exhibited them at. Anyone who says there is no coincidence doesn't travel in my circles.
