…… Recommendations for a good quality killing cone for large meat birds

Anyone here use one they like? If so, what brand did you go with? I really need one, but want to get one that’s going to last.

When you say 'Large meat birds'... how large?
I ask because other than the normal stainless steel cones for broilers, I use a six gallon bucket with a three inch hole cut in the bottom for turkeys.

I have the turkey one for big broilers. Came from Amazon years ago. If the hole is too big, I take a heavy rubber doormat, make a cone shape out of it and slip it inside the steel cone - twisted a bit to adjust the hole to size. Works for me.

Bigger than some small dogs. :lol: Maybe 11-12 lbs?

I bought this brand, and like it. I've only tried a couple different ones, so not a huge amount of experience, but this one is simple but high quality. I've had the first of these that I bought since about 2017.

We use traffic cone and cut the top off to the size we need. I have no idea where DH got them....maybe Uline.
