Some activated charcoal, moistened with colloidal silver, water or (my preference) lavender essential oil often works really well on any sort of venemous bite or sting.

Apply it as a paste and let it dry on before removing. You can bandage over it without any problems.

I've had good luck with simply putting tea tree DD just moved into a new to them house and she needs an exterminator she says. They're seeing all kinds of creepy crawlies including spiders. She came over with a spot on her should the other day that was about the size of a dime....all red and pussy in the middle. Told her to go home, wash it with a hot cloth and put tea tree oil on it. When i talked to her 2 days later she said it was better.
We have to spray spring and fall to keep the spiders down here. I got bitten by a brown recluse quite a few years ago (killed it after it tore me up). Went to the doc on that one but since I have reactions to so many anitbiotics all he wanted to give was amoxicillan. I didn't even bother filling it......I came home and started a 2x daily wash with tea tree oil and then packed the holes with goldenseal. All this was on my ankle. Could barely walk for weeks but it healed and now years later is barely noticeable.
