(N MN) The local weather bureau is doing a heads up over these two events, but it looks to me like the worst of it may slip south of us. The forecast is so far out yet that it's really anybody's guess.

So far they're calling for rain in my part of central Iowa. Ice storms here in Iowa in March are a very real thing!

The guess for us is 4-7" of snow Thursday night and the same for the weekend. I'm glad I didn't take the snowblower off the tractor.

I see Maine is in the throes of a blizzard warning. They changed our weather forecast and it looks like we'll be getting some snow tonight and tomorrow, central Iowa.

Last night's Round One, only got a dusting. Where I'm at, the 48 hour event starting Saturday night-Sunday could dump 20 inches. With the strong east wind - if lake effect kicks in, could be more. Going from brown dry grass to winter wonderland. Hope the plow-guy didn't take the plow off the truck.

Cooking a turkey today for plenty of leftovers, filling water containers, charging small electronics, laundry, dishes - same old routine, because this has potential to be part rain along with the rest of the joy. Heavy stuff. + wind. Yeehaw.
