I've never taken a cruise either, I hear they are magnificent. My mom, nieces and sisters have taken quite a few and their stories make me jealous!
Forgot to say the photos were taken in Cabo San Lucas, our hotel was the Santa Fe owned by the Riu chain-the hotel next door looked like Buckingham palace, it was phenomenally beautiful. The hotel was all inclusive with the best meals I've eaten anywhere if you don't count the Montezuma's revenge I was anointed with while there.
There are short cruises to the Bahamas from Florida, that would be the one I'd pick. I love to fly but it scares me every time.
