But what is interesting is the reference to the 2nd dip in the "great recession" and how the Tea Party is responsible for it. I'm starting to hear reference to the "great recession" on major network radio news. What also is VERY interesting is the Tea Party was started by a yell from a reporter from a LIBERAL news network on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade against the Obumer administration. All a little over 2 years ago and now it is a force to be reckoned with and just continues to grow.

Why would the voice of Geico Insurance (“Save $50 dollars or more…”) attack the staff and followers of FreedomWorks as “mentally retarded?” Does he really think that the good men and women who make up the tea party movement – mothers and daughters, grandparents and grandchildren – are all potential murderers that will inevitably “actually kill someone?”

Better yet, how many of these “mentally retarded” killers opted to save $50 dollars or more on their car insurance.

Last week, the FreedomWorks press department received a voicemail from a man identifying himself as Lance Baxter. This is what Lance has to say:

Let them know that you, in fact, are not a mentally retarded killer, but that you are now in the market for car insurance.

The economy is a mess. The president “inherited” a 7.6% unemployment rate. It’s now 9.4% — after we spent a record $787 billion on a stimulus.

I was not consulted on that stimulus. I had a very good argument against it. I said the money supply was too large and printing more money would fail. I said let the economic downturn run its course.

Lefties were too busy celebrating the 2008 election to listen.

When people protested lefties made vulgar remarks about tea-bagging and giggled.

I didn't bother with the video. What I'm noticing is that as a last resorts liberals are falling back on name calling and walking away from any discussion that involves actual facts. One I used to converse with has refuse to discuss the situation. How can compromise or direction be reached with people who refuse to see a reality they call not accept?

Please understand that NOT ALL Canadians have this POV but unfortunately there are many here of the liberal bent who are anti-American-only God knows why-but sadly there are some who seem to enjoy watching American troubles right now. Needless to say I am not one of those.
Just by way of shedding some light as to why feralmama refers to "you" when she posts about the USA.

Thanks for the info Sarah Lynn, now I understand the hate. Is it true that hate speech up there can get you sent to jail?

Most Canadians I know are pretty upstanding people, but I guess there are always a few rotten apples in every barrel, even down here in CONUS.
Just wondering why would someone live down here(in Washington or Oregon if I remember) if they hate the place so much?

By the way, I have often thought I would like to retire in Canada, Nova Scotia to be specific. SL You have a beautiful country up there.

Well the thing is, as much as liberals despise the tea party. The tea party has had no effect on the current situation in America. It is all corrupt Democrats and all corrupt Republicans, for a minimum of the past 3 decades. The liberal escalation is unfounded.

So to that, I say when the system breaks, very very soon, it will be the liberals that won't survive off other peoples money.

Liberalism is a system that self destructs, and true conservatives will continue to live and thrive after the beast, and the devil holding its reigns, have burned in hell.

So to me, this video is just a cry for help. They know their days are very few, and their time is short from living off the backs of others.

Well plantman, this type of mind control and conditioning isn't for intelligent, thinking sorts, it's for people like feralmama who are knee jerk, gut reaction feelings types who are too weak minded to actually verify the veracity of such libel.

Often, people guilty of a crime or offense will project the action on the innocent party in an effort to deflect attention from what they have done, hoping that bystanders will take up their false cause and unwittingly side with them. (Abusive relationships often contain this cycle by the abuser). This is exactly what the communists are doing to the Tea Party, it is textbook, right from Hitler's play book. I would think it safe to call the people doing this Nazi's since they have been following the Nazi takeover of Germany to do incredible damage to America. The term communist has been watered down, but the label Nazi still maintains it's bloody glow, and if the shoe fits...

Especially telling is that she comes back and checks the thread and still doesn't say anything. Plus the rule is - Dennis has asked how many times? - that anyone who posts a video has to give a summary since some people are on slow dialup and can't download videos.

I appreciate the balance, left wing propaganda or not. I have seen plenty of right wing propaganda here as well, and I find it healthy to view both sides, not have stuff "spoon fed" to me to try to form my thoughts for me. If this is that big of an issue, may I suggest a separate forum area for conservatives and one for liberals to share their extreme sides of things? I don't care so much for opinions, I want facts and the stuff the media is NOT doing a good job of sharing.

At my age and study of history and just having lived through so much . . . I can say truthfully that I do not care one whit about what propaganda a liberal wants to spew because I KNOW it's ALL progaganda and extreme. I look at the state of the USA and the constitution and the welfare rolls and the political correctness and myraid other "programs" that were ALL designed and implemented by liberals - I already KNOW what and how they think and you know what - I don't want to hear them try to make the weakest minds (created by liberals) re-elect them to give them more. I already have the FACTS.

I don't necessarily mind it either, as long as it is fact based. I came to where I stood ideologically, by growing up in a political home and observing behaviors, then, as I got out own my own, reading, listening and analyzing.

In fact, I was listening to MSNBC just the other day. When I heard "it's the Tea Party's fault" the third time in so many minutes, I changed channels.

I have no taste for adhominem attacks. I do have a taste for facts. Not lies, but facts.

And unfortunately, I find very few of those coming out of the left.

I watched the entire video and just shook my head. It was pointless, useless, and basically someone having a temper tantrum. Did not see a single fact in there.

It was amusing watching the libtards blaming the tea party this morning for what is happening. When they had absolutely no power in stopping the corrupt Republicans in the house from raising the debt ceiling. Then again they had no power in stopping the corrupt Democrats in the senate from raising the debt ceiling. And they had absolutely no power in stopping Ovomit from signing it.

Now the spiral is out of control and the libtards are running for cover.
