Are you that far from Portland Head light? Your top photo reminds me of Gloucester on the north side of Cape Pond Ice at a wee cove there.

these are from tenant's harbor, near rockland, 1.5 hr drive up the coast from portland. i have some interesting shots of portland head light coming up. That light was commissioned by Geo Washington.

I haven't been to the light you posted above but PHL is one of my favourites. I lost all my PHL pics in a fatal HD crash last year. :boohoo:
