Canning The Nesco Electric Pressure Canner will not take Regular Quart Canning Jars...Only the Shorter Wide Mouth Quarts

Just in case I had influenced anyone to buy this canner, I thought I'd better give this it's own thread. It may be a deal breaker for me. I haven't decided yet.

I much prefer wide mouth jars but 2/3 of my quart jars are regular mouth that I don't think I can justify replacing. I am canning more and more in pints though...still can't commit just yet. I sure wish they'd made it just a little taller.

I'm not sure how I missed this with all the research, but I did...I don't know about the other electric canners.

I know this thread is a couple months old but I bought my wife the Presto electric pressure canner for Christmas last year and it will hold the regular mouth jars. It will hold 5 regular mouth or 4 wide mouth. It does cost a bit more though.
