very special B&W of Venice, Italy

Son transfered from Iraq to a base in Italy, so great excuse to visit. Wife gifted photographer, plus I did some software work on the images, cropping and composing to build a good B&W. It was a rare opportunity to go someplace exotic with someone providing a place to stay plus guide service. I regret not being able to go (had a moose hunt permit that is VERY rare to be drawn for, so plan to go myself next fall). Yes, there really are places in the world like this, with locals working to keep it unspoiled.
