It is a beautimous day!! I've made 4 new recipes - at least 2 are keepers. I've done up one load of laundry, ordered some more storage containers, and started cleaning out a bedroom. Ran my ebay account - I made over $1000 in January. From stuff that I literally pulled out of the dumpster! Love it!

ETA: Ok, 3 out of 4. The Chicken dill soup, corn wafers, and chocolate applesauce muffins were keepers. The maple bacon monkey bread, not so much.

I made some good progress on the garage, even got one of the kayaks hung, but that will need to be done differently when I have help. At least I have that space back, and I donated one set of kitchen chairs, so the garage is free of the large stuff. There's still smaller stuff to organize better, but it's off the floor and on shelves.

I still have several folding tables that I'm unsure about, but I found a spot to stack them against the wall, so they'll stay for now, along with some extra folding chairs. They're now totally out of the way. If they don't get used (or loaned out) over the summer, I'll donate them. I don't have company that often, but when I do, it's nice to have the extra tables and seating. I put them in the garage and out on the patio.

I exhausted! I'm going to eat soup and ham sandwiches and then hang out in my recliner and read.

Whew! Sitting at the computer to rest for a bit - Youngest grandson, grand-dog and I walked down to the lake and back, then all the way around the farm. Hubby did the lake walk, but bailed on us for the rest. I heard the buggy running and thought he was coming to get us, but we ended up walking home. Grand-dog got first dibs on the big old claw foot tub because he ended up in the lake a couple of times. I got it cleaned up just in time for Grandson to hop in. As soon as I got his water ran in the tub, I headed for the shower - it was just a wee bit soggy (aka: muddy - out there  )

So now Papaw is heating the oven to bake the pizza grandson picked out for supper, and I'm wondering if we reeallly need anything to go with it... Oh wait - Grandson picked out 4 small pies at the store, so I think dessert is covered - I'm calling dibs on the apple one - which means that if I want it, I'd better go hide it now

Well the maple bacon monkey bread could have gone either way!

I don't know - it just wasn't. I was debating about taking all the vintage clothes I've been trying to sell on Ebay to Goodwill, then last night caught the end of 20/20 or some show. The outfit the female host was wearing was straight outta the 70s - bright green shirt, paisley bell bottoms. I had to check with DH to make sure I hadn't time traveled. Now I'm thinking I'll list all the stuff I have. Some of it is really nice - a toga type dress with the tags on, a bunch of handmade stuff, and some shirt dresses from penneys (IIRC).
