I got the snowgo out of storage to work on in the warm weather. I changed the rubber grommets that serve to connect the carbs to the block. No big deal really but it was smart to do in the warm air. The new rubber was stiff even now. It would be harder in winter. I went ahead and drained the carbs and fuel pump of any water. Then I greased the zirx fittings.

It felt good to be proactive.

2006 Polaris 550, with pull start. They are easy to work on. This model replaced replaced the 488 model which was very durable. People have said bad things about the 550, but I have had good luck. The 488 had the mechanical reverse and sweet back rest, that adjusted for one or two riders. The 550 has electric reverse , which makes me nervous. Don't buy fuel injected they are impossible to work on, and thus expensive to repair.
