. . . such as surveillance drones of one ilk or another, and/or a military grade low-orbit spy satellite repositioned for in-depth recon, and PLANTS - LOTS of camera-equipped plants/facial recognition/license-plate readers mixed into this assemblage - all conveniently organized AND paid for by . . . Soros, Bloomberg, other well-resourced international deep-staters?

Count upon it.

This is most certainly NOT your father's Oldsmobile.

A NEW kind of war. Is the resistance leadership clued into these, and other, technology-driven tactics/force multipliers that WILL BE used AGAINST them - perhaps as a subtle "culling" mechanism to remove some of the "stiff-neck starch?"

Eyes WIDE open.

Okay. Then I am confused. If virtually every county is opposed to what is happening, how did the Demos get control of both the state senate and house?
Not enough Republicans got out and voted in the last election, and in many districts, no one even ran against the Democrats, so they ended up with a majority running the state.

What if they were several thousand strong, heavily armed and many combat vets in the crowd?

I read a fictional story about a similar situation, once.

As I recall, there were a group of patriots who were very well organized. Most of those engaged in the action weren't in this group; so it was a very small percentage. They concentrated their efforts on the capital city.

But, as I recall, this group was able to sabotage the power lines (both shooting transformers and blowing up the towers), the gas line junctions, and the railroad (here again, concentrating on bridges even very far away as they cannot be repaired or rebuilt without considerable effort). They even were able to stop the semi-trailer trucks by wrecking the known sympathizer's equipment (no company wanted to risk bringing their equipment into the city after that as it wasn't covered under insurance because it was an act of war or some such thing).

I wish I could remember what the title was. The story is somewhat dated. I'd still like to read it again though.

It would be even easier today, of course, with drones to help keep on eye on the area.

Newer targets would be cell phone towers and internet fiber optic lines, of course.

It's very interesting to view how history repeats itself as the parallels are very similar to the years leading up to our revolution. If memory serves me right the Colonies had one of the highest standards of living in the world, if not the highest. The economy was exploding and the the Empire was just out of the French and Indian war. Taxes were raised and other tyrannical polices were enacted. The people grumbled and complained but went on with their lives, while some of the more vocal ones made plans.

Then they came for the guns and the rest is history.

I forget who wrote this but I've found it to be rather true. Leftists have a dial for violence. They are willing to go 0-10 on the violence dial to enact their goals. Conservatives on the other hand have a switch. It alternates between reasonable protest and kill them all. The issue is, Leftists do not understand Conservatives. Conservatives on the other hand understand Leftists. They think that just because the right talks, or peacefully protests that we are stuck on the 0 setting. They are playing with fire in my opinion.

Chances are it would escalate into wholesale slaughter. They would likely not be able to have enough good people in their “National Guard” to turn the tide in their favor.

and add this to the mix . . . throughout the history of ALL previous conflicts this nation faced, there were combatants that went up against previously unknown weapons/force multipliers - as an example - WWI . . . mustard and various other gasses; tanks, AIRCRAFT . . . you can look at history and see that repeatedly over and over and over again.

THEY WENT ANYWAY

should this stupidity persist, my last dollar is that there will again be those undeterred by "what ever is new"and who recognize the NEED to stand and fight for their progeny and what they believe in

Virginia Constitutional Conservatives
The mission of the Virginia Constitutional Conservatives is to protect and defend the great American principles of individual liberty, constitutional government, and free markets, by means of political activity. VCC is a statewide political entity with three major strategic goals:
Train Conservative Activists: The only way to win is to know how to win. We will train willingactivists on how to beat the statists politically to make Virginia a bastion of freedom and opportunity.
Mobilize the Grassroots: By activating voters and volunteers, we inflict political pain on those that oppose a free society. Growing the Virginia Constitutional Movement starts with fighting on issues that really matter to connect the legislative season to the electoral season.
Elect Real Conservative Candidates: Politics is like baseball. You cannot play in the World Series until you’ve gained experience in AA and AAA ball. Likewise, you will have had to have extensive experience playing in the major leagues before you make it to the big game. In the same way in Virginia we need to develop a farm team of locally-elected, liberty-minded fighters who will use their office to advance the cause for liberty.
So what are you waiting for? Our liberties are not going to magically re-appear. Sign up to take action now! We need your generous financial support right now online today to accomplish our strategic goals and beat the statists. You matter to us, your involvement in this cause matters to us. VA National Guard Issues Statement Over Calls To Enforce Gun Control

Posted at 3:30 pm on December 13, 2019 by Cam Edwards

Democrat Congressman Donald McEachin’s comments about using the National Guard to enforce Governor Ralph Northam’s proposed gun control laws in Virginia has caused a storm of controversy in the state, to the point that the Adjutant General of the Virginia National Guard has issued a statement, after scores of phone calls and emails from concerned citizens and curious media figures. WSLS-TV in Roanoke was the first to report on the comments by Major General Timothy P. Williams.
“We have received multiple questions regarding proposed legislation for the 2020 General Assembly session and the authority of the Governor of Virginia to employ the Virginia National Guard in a law enforcement role. Please make sure you share this message with your all of your personnel.

We understand and respect the passion people feel for the U.S. Constitution and 2nd Amendment rights. We will not speculate about the possible use of the Virginia National Guard. I encourage everyone to be patient while we allow our elected officials to work through the legislative process.

We have not received any requests from the Governor, or anyone on his staff, about serving in a law enforcement role related to any proposed legislation.

I expect our Soldiers, Airmen and members of the Virginia Defense Force to be professional and respectful in their discussions about this subject. As private citizens, our personnel are free to express their opinions to their elected officials, but they should not engage in any political activity while in a uniformed status.

We will provide regular updates when appropriate during the General Assembly session. Please utilize your chain of command to direct any questions or concerns to my office, and we will do our best to address them.”

For those who were hoping that Maj. General Williams was going to come out swinging with a “Hell no we’re not taking anybody’s guns”, it wasn’t going to happen. Even if that’s how the adjutant general feels, he’s not going to pick a fight with the governor if he doesn’t have to. He can kick this can down the road, at least until and if Northam actually requests that the National Guard go into rural counties to look for people who are allowing their 17-year old daughter to hunt unsupervised on their property, or to try to catch someone transferring a firearm without a background check.

If Northam were actually dumb enough to do that, I suspect what he’d find is yet another crisis of public confidence on his hands. Not only would he have to deal with dozens of counties and cities that have said “no” to unconstitutional gun control laws, he’d create a crisis within the Virginia National Guard, whose members swear to uphold the Constitution. Many of those National Guardsmen are gun owners and Second Amendment supporters as well, and I suspect there would be a genuine fracturing of the organization over the issue.

In fact, if you read between the lines of the adjutant general’s statement, it’s clear that McEachin’s comment is already causing a stir within the Guard itself. The men and women of the Virginia National Guard signed up to defend freedom, not establish a police state on American soil where soldiers search for scofflaws who refuse to register their rifles with the Virginia State Police.

It should be noted that during the Civil War days in an area called "Land Between the Lakes" in TN a noncombatant, and neutralist had two sons who were hunting whitetail deer, and took a shot, as a party of Union soldiers were passing by, who in turn captured the boys, stood them up against a tree and shot them. They also cut their heads off and took the heads to the home of their father and stuck them on fence posts in the yard, in the presence of their father.

Their father at that very moment became a Confederate, had a special sniper rifle made, in .50 Cal, and marked the barrel with every Union kill. There were, and still are (it's on exhibit) 33 marks in that barrel. He became the scourge of the Union army in that area, and had a large bounty placed on his head. His name was Jack Hinson.

The Governor needs to be very careful on what he proposes. Not that I would suggest anyone do that, only quoting history in citing what has happened, and could happen again. Taking out children will have a large backlash, greater than one can anticipate.

VIRGINIA GOVERNOR REPORTEDLY ORDERS PLANS TO CUT ELECTRIC, PHONES, INTERNET FOR GUN CONFISCATIONS!

VIRGINIA GOVERNOR REPORTEDLY ORDERS PLANS TO CUT ELECTRIC, PHONES, INTERNET FOR GUN CONFISCATIONS!

The Governor of Virginia has allegedly ordered a small cadre of staffers to begin the process for determining how to cut off electricity, telephones/ FAXES, Cellular phones AND DATA, as well as the Internet, in areas where he plans to send Virginia National Guard Troops to forcibly seize guns when the Democrat legislature convenes in January!

The order was allegedly given to a very small and trusted group of staffers, some of whom it turns out, do not agree (at all) with this idea.

To acquaint readers with what is taking place in Virginia, here are two Bills which are expected to be enacted once Democrats takeover the legislature in January:
SB 16 Assault firearms and certain firearm magazines; prohibiting sale, transport, etc., penalties.
Introduced by: Richard L. Saslaw | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Prohibiting sale, transport, etc., of assault firearms and certain firearm magazines; penalties.
Expands the definition of "assault firearm" and prohibits any person from importing, selling, transferring, manufacturing, purchasing, possessing, or transporting an assault firearm. A violation is a Class 6 felony. The bill prohibits a dealer from selling, renting, trading, or transferring from his inventory an assault firearm to any person. The bill also prohibits a person from carrying a shotgun with a magazine that will hold more than seven rounds of the longest ammunition for which it is chambered in a public place; under existing law, this prohibition applies only in certain localities. The bill makes it a Class 1 misdemeanor to import, sell, barter, or transfer any firearm magazine designed to hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition.

Worse, Here is SB64:
SENATE BILL NO. 64Offered January 8, 2020Prefiled November 21, 2019
A BILL to amend and reenact § 18.2-433.2 of the Code of Virginia, relating to paramilitary activities; penalty.
----------Patron-- Lucas----------Referred to Committee for Courts of Justice----------
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 18.2-433.2 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 18.2-433.2. Paramilitary activity prohibited; penalty.
A person shall be is guilty of unlawful paramilitary activity, punishable as a Class 5 felony if he:
1. Teaches or demonstrates to any other person the use, application, or making of any firearm, explosive, or incendiary device, or technique capable of causing injury or death to persons, knowing or having reason to know or intending that such training will be employed for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder; or
2. Assembles with one or more persons for the purpose of training with, practicing with, or being instructed in the use of any firearm, explosive, or incendiary device, or technique capable of causing injury or death to persons, intending to employ such training for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder; or
3. Assembles with one or more persons with the intent of intimidating any person or group of persons by drilling, parading, or marching with any firearm, any explosive or incendiary device, or any components or combination thereof
.
2. That the provisions of this act may result in a net increase in periods of imprisonment or commitment. Pursuant to § 30-19.1:4 of the Code of Virginia, the estimated amount of the necessary appropriation cannot be determined for periods of imprisonment in state adult correctional facilities; therefore, Chapter 854 of the Acts of Assembly of 2019 requires the Virginia Criminal Sentencing Commission to assign a minimum fiscal impact of $50,000. Pursuant to § 30-19.1:4 of the Code of Virginia, the estimated amount of the necessary appropriation cannot be determined for periods of commitment to the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Disarmed and Ignorant

So put simply, the Democrats in Virginia want to confiscate certain privately (and lawfully) owned firearms, take them by force if they have to, and forbid their citizens from TEACHING OR LEARNING OR TRAINING WITH firearms, or any other method of physical force which can be used to hurt or kill someone (think Karate, Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Boxing, etc.) They want Virginians disarmed and ignorant.

Virgnina has 95 Counties. Of those, at least 75 have passed "Second Amendment Sanctuary" Resolutions saying they will protect citizens Second Amendment rights. Some counties have also passed Resolutions calling-up their local Militias! (The unorganized militia consists of all able-boded males from the age of 16 to 45. Some states also include females.)

Hearing of these Resolutions, the Governor apparently realizes if he and his Democrat legislature actually try this, there will be widespread resistance. So he apparently has it in his head that he will use force to achieve what he wants, and possibly send the Virginia National Guard to forcibly TAKE the guns.

If the situation were to come to that, the Governor seems to think that citizens will need to be cut off from their electric, telephones, faxes, cellular phones and cellular data, and the Internet, so they cannot tell anyone what's taking place and cannot call other citizens for help.

How interesting the Adjutant General brings the State Defense Force into the discussion now. Things at the top must really be getting dicey.

See Virginia Defense Force – Virginians Helping Virginians

The Virginia Defense Force is authorized by the Code of the Virginia as the all-volunteer reserve of the Virginia National Guard and serves as a force multiplier integrated into all Guard domestic operations. Members of the VDF volunteer their time for training and community support and are only paid when called to state active duty by an authorization from the Governor of Virginia.

Virginia counties declare gun sanctuaries, but experts say they ‘don’t have force of law’

“I think there’s a lot of, maybe, misunderstandings about what the impact of these statements, these resolutions that are being adopted, will do,” said Dana Schrad, executive director of the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police. “They are nothing more than position statements. They don’t have the force of law.”

These VA Dems (I would imagine they are imported from somewhere else) don't really understand the depths of what true Virginians are capable of.
These are fighting men and women. They've never been challenged before in this generation, but even their kids are aware of what is going on. They have not bought into the cool-aid.
When I first moved out here to the mountains, (from the coast) I was shocked how everyone owned guns and knew how to use them. Women and children included.
Being out here and listening to the people around me, well let's just say they aren't going to take this lying down.
