9:20 PM: Bloomberg says he wants to cut back as much as you can but to not have troops where terrorists congregate is not responsible.

9:19 PM: Debate turns to foreign policy. O’Donnell asks Warren about bringing home all troops from the Middle East before saying she wanted to bring back combat troops.

Warren says she understands how much military members sacrifice. She says her three brothers were in the military and we have a sacred responsibility to not force the military to solve problems they cannot solve. She says we also need a strong State Department to be the “eyes and ears” on the ground in addition to strong alliances. She says we need to be nicer to dictators than allies.
