I could, in theory, grow a lot of those (we rarely get down to freezing temps), but my kitchen garden area gets a lot of shade this time of year. Right now I have a buttery heirloom Romaine lettuce, a small red butter lettuce, and arugula that are growing. I'll probably start harvesting the lettuces soon (I harvest leaves, not the whole plant), also the arugula (which I mix with the lettuce for salads). I like his idea of stashing garlic in the fridge to give it more cooling time, something I'd probably have to do here.
