This past year I planted two varieties of carrot, Scarlet Nantes and St Valery. In the fall I dug them up and reburied each in an easily accessible spot. I noticed after a few months that one pile seemed to degrade at a slower rate. And my problem...I can't remember which variety went into which pile. Any info or experience out there on which carrot lasts better in storage?
