CORONA Biden signs bill ending the Bat Flu emergency - Now what?

Posting from my phone so I can't link. Biden signed a bill today that ends the Chinavirus Emergency, about a month earlier than his announced deadline. So, other than removing some emergency authorities and spending authorization, what if anything does this mean in practical terms, on the ground for us peasants?

Saw an article last week that our local hospital system is relaxing mask requirements, but still vigorously supports individual choice to wear one, and you can request your care team be masked. Guess I'll see how it goes at a procedure in a few weeks.

changes to healthcare plans - ending most of the "first dollar" benefits (meaning you don't have to meet a deductible first) for testing & treatment... ending of some of the flexibility in COBRA rules that were put in place due to COVID shutdowns....

Means healthcare companies planning for the 5/11 end have to redo all the work for a 4/10 end. Recalculate the end date for extended deadlines and redo all the communications.
