The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) commits genocide (the Uyghurs in the Xinjiang region), has committed forced abortions (the one-child policy), allowed COVID to be spread across the world with their lies, allows dangerous sweatshops to operate, and suppresses their people's freedoms and faith (think of Hong Kong and, separately, the persecution of Christians, Muslims and member of Falun Gong).

The CCP is an evil organization and needs to be stopped!

With the Beijing Olympics now underway, the CCP is only interested in one thing: gaining the respect and admiration of the rest of the world.
But, the CCP is only deserving of disgrace and rebuke, not respect or admiration.

So, we must raise our voices against their shameful lies, murders and reign of tyranny. And, we must also do what can to hit them where it hurts -- in the pocketbook!

Pledging to buy local, or to buying products from anywhere but China, might present a challenge as everyone will have to make a concerted effort to look at the labels of their purchases, and maybe pay a little more for a product made outside China.
But, this is something which every man, woman and child can do to protest the manifest evil which the Chinese Communist Party, as distinct from the Chinese people, is responsible for.

Is Main Street America or High Street Europe, with their lockdowns, censorship, and mandates looking more and more like China because we have allowed ourselves to become addicted to communist labor?

Have we allowed cheap goods to take over liberty and justice?

This is not a partisan issue, this is about a way of life that ensures a dignified future for workers around the world versus a totalitarian communist system that floods the world with cheap goods and evil ideology…

It's time we put our money where our mouth is, and buy local rather than give our money to the CCP.

Even if the boots or shoes are made in Vietnam like my pairs of Dr. Scholl's, or Cambodia, like one of my pairs of tennies...that is better than buying from China.

I am going to be real mindful of that from now on, with everything, not just food items!

Just bought this product. Was significantly impressed by their listing statement below.

  • CLEANSE RIGHT EAR DROPS ARE MADE IN THE USA!!! Other Ear Drop solutions on the market (including the one in the yellow box which we can't name in this listing) are manufactured in China and are NOT regulated meaning there is no guarantee that what you're getting in the bottle is what is on the ingredient list and there is no guarantee you aren't getting an expired product.

It is VERY difficult to buy anything NOT made in China.

Owner has spoken of the plethora of small equipment found around here.

The Lawnmower USED to have a Tecumseh engine on it. Owner replaced it with a vertical shaft "Predator" engine - available from Harbor Freight and MADE IN CHINA. Price of engine total less than the price of the EPA carburetor required to make the Tecumseh engine work.

The log splitter was originally made with a Briggs & Stratton engine. 15 years of splitting saw the demise of that engine - and its replacement with a Harbor Freight Predator - now five years old.

The wheeled leaf blower (BillyGoat) was originally made with a B&S engine. It was old when it came here. 5 years of use (and clouds of blue smoke) saw the engine replaced with another HF Predator. At about 1/3rd the price of a new B&S. (and HF probably a better engine.)

Owner shops the Harbor Freight Coupons. He's seeing a long term "unavailability" of Chinese Engines at a reasonable price. So he's been following the coupons, waiting for another engine to put on the shelf.

The $99 coupon was last offered in March 2021. Since then the engine list price - when you can find them - is $149. Owner held.

Recently the list price dropped to $129 - no coupon. So Owner bit and bought another engine now in a box on the barn floor.

MOST recently the list price has INCREASED back to $149 - back where it was. Still no coupons.

Owner says engines will probably only go up from here. Between inflation and shortage, price will increase.

An equivalent 6.5hp Briggs & Stratton engine now cruises in the $325-350 range.

Always looking for details I may have missed.
As Millwright noted, I already avoid buying anything from China and no, I will not be signing up for a list on the Internet.

Side note: I had to replace the battery in my G-shock watch this weekend for the first time. I looked at the back of the case and was expecting to see "Made in China" because many of them these days are made in China. But no, to my pleasant surprise it said "Japan Mov't ed Cased in Thailand"- I had never noticed before. Once I had the back cover off the inside was labeled as made in Japan, and the new battery was also labeled as Japanese origin. Nice to know that in this case it was easy to avoid Chinese products.

Stopping the flow of hight tech batteries that is about to start coming from china used for electric cars and solar powered systems will raise more than a few eye brows as it's known most of the democrats and Biden have their money invested in it.

China bought Walmart ages ago. I also thought they own those big box stores too(?)
Costco and Sams Club.
(But Walmart IS Sams Club, so that makes sense )
