Surprisingly, federal prosecutors Steven Myhre and Nadia Ahmed who have recently been scorned by Federal Judge Gloria Navarro for “flagrant” prosecutorial misconduct are still listed on the Bundy case.
In this live broadcast by Pete Santilli to share the exciting news about the dismissal of the third trial group, Pete questions whether or not it’s appropriate for Myhre or Admed to be providing their Washington DC front office at the Department of Justice with the information about the case. Can Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ Department of Justice, as well as recently appointed U.S. Attorney have confidence in the advice of Mhyre and Ahmed.
In the days leading up to the motion being filed Prosecutors were said to have been on edge while considering their options to move forward or dismiss. Today was also the deadline to appeal the judges decision to dismiss the case with prejudice of Cliven Bundy, his 2 sons, and Ryan Payne. In a bold move Prosecutors decided to file a motion to directly appeal to Judge Gloria Navarro instead of filing directly with the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. While defense teams are optimistic she will uphold her decision to dismiss the case against Bundy based on “willful misconduct” they are at the same time cautious to not be overly confident considering the strangeness of this case from the beginning.
Talking to some of the people on the inside they have the overwhelming feeling that by throwing the case back in her court the Prosecution is trying one last ditch effort to save face by putting a bad light on the Judges decision so that they look just a little better when Congressional hearings begin.
