Brick oven and wood stove

I finally got round to posting a pic of my brick oven at the back of my house.

The man who built my house in the 1920's and 30's built this for his wife but I've used, too.

There are 2 circular cook plates on the top, under that is the oven, and below that is the wood box. The chimney has a damper that opens and closes with an iron crank. I expect to use it WTSHTF. I've got a whole bunch of firewood.

No I don't, Bob, because the builder built my house in the late 1920's and early 30's and left no plans. :shk:

Mo :rs:

I can not believe the utter disrespect that builder had. Darn it, I'm ENTITLED to those plans... Right? :dvl1:

Thanks for the pix, I'll see if I can draw something out over the winter. I need something like that for the apocalypse.

Cheeky bugger, wasn't he?? I'll get some pix of the firebox, the oven and inside the chimney tomorrow that might help you with your design.
