Brownie cutting tip

Get gunk all over your knife and rip the brownies to shreds while still warm?

Use a plastic knife or the handle of a plastic spoon or fork. Try to get one of the thicker variety of plasticware or it might warp when you cut with it from the heat. The plastic glides right thru the warm/hot brownies and doesnt rip them up like a reg. knife.

We used a plastic pancake flipper to cut and pry out the pieces. Not totally clean, but not bad.
