I have no idea what "Spic" is, but I spent a number of years learning the amazingly poetic, beautiful, and flowing language of Spain and Latin America which is called Spanish in English. Like English, it has dozen of dialectics and variations, though, like English, there are certain standards that educated people accept as being "correct," at least in formal writing and public speaking.

It is also a great stepping stone towards learning other Romance languages, something I was never quite able to do but I can get around in Italy and I can sometimes figure out basic words in French if I have to. I can also sometimes translate bits of Latin, especially if it is just a word or two; Spanish, French, Italian, and Romanian all grew out of Latin. At one point in time, Spain had one of the largest empires in the world and many countries still speak that language just as the later British Empire left many countries speaking various forms of English.
