I actually thought it was a pretty good speech. I was pretty disappointed at the childish way the Demon-O-Craps reacted and sat there pouting through much of the speech. Talk about poor lOOOOOOOSERS!!!

Even Van (Whitelash) Jones on CNN said Trump did a great job!! The Dems have to be crapping themselves. realistically how can anyone disagree with what trump is trying to accomplish!!

I think I was part of that CNN poll!!! In fact, they actually called me twice.

Identifying them from CNN, the first call was a few days ago for a general survey on Trump and the country, then asked if they could call after the speech. Sure enough, the call came 2 or 3 minutes afterwards and about six or seven opinion questions were asked with 3 options. Not favorable, moderately favorable or favorable.

Economy, immigration and direction of the country were the main focus. Naturally I said he would do a great job but there is a division that might hamper it.

Whether or not my little voice made an impact, I like to think that for once, my opinion actually did count, especially after seeing those numbers!!!

Jones said that if Trump doesn't go back to "his old self" tomorrow, that the Dems have a big, big problem.

Both sides do it, but the emoticrats do it far more often and with more fervor.

Frankly, I wish they'd ban all the silly standing-clapping-sitdown-repeat and just let the members push silent approval buttons that would accumulate and we could then see a score superimposed on the screen. We'd also be able to listen to what the POTUS was saying without interruptions.

It was a good completely comprehensive speech. Didn't see any negative commends on FB, which is the first place 8 see bitching. Hope Trump can keep up the momentum and get things done faster than Democrats can do anything.

If that had been a Fox news poll I wouldn't of been surprised. Being a CNN poll I do find that surprising. Trump made the appeal to set aside petty party politics and to unite for the good of the nation and to get some real things done for the people and while he was saying that most of the Dems sat their stony faced. Actions will speak louder than rhetoric from both sides of the aisle in the weeks ahead. If all the left and establishment does is continues to obstruct then that will be noticed as well. And it's also noteworthy as the left gets more shrill and doubles down to please the far left they get taken to the cleaners more and more in the State and Federal elections. Most Americans are centrists or lean slightly to the right politically and for the Dems to continue to take a hard left turn will be suicide for them. Too bad....heh.

Video and story from CNN on the polling....

No way! Think about it. President Trump managed to get the progressives to work and off there collective butts. Now that's doing something.

It also showed how negative the opposition is and on what issues. The failure of Democrats and some Republicans to stand on some issues was very telling. Many issues were split neatly down party lines but there were cross overs. It provided the country with a visual accounting of who's interests they were protecting. It was not the interests of the American people. With so many citizens unemployed, under employed, on government assistance, in debt and homeless that hit home.

Remember though, that he didn't get the popular vote, so until the cry babies start liking what he does, his numbers will be low ....

Trump's maiden address to a chamber of lawmakers, Supreme Court Justices, ambassadors and generals, was delivered as the president grapples with multiple crises and faces historically-low approval ratings.

Total bulls***.

Gallup is one of the very fake polls. Rasmussen is better.

Considering the white-hot hatred dems have for Trump, the fact that in the CBS poll 24% of them felt more optimistic after hearing the speech is astounding.

Forty percent of Democrats at least somewhat approved; 18 percent strongly approved.

Again, astounding that 58% of dems approved of what he said. Let that sink in for a moment...

Which part?

All of those folks were there.

His approval rating IS the lowest in history at this stage in a presidency.

even before the speech - that was a little something very notable - the aisle seats were packed with the Republicans that wanted a handshake .... Trump entered the podium area from the DemoCrap side - those three old black men standing at the podium entry were the old guard of the Black Congressional Caucus - there obviously to make a point counter to crackpot Maxine Waters ....

according to the very same polling sources - Prez Trump was losing by 20 to 35 points pre-election nite - and you actually puke out those poll #s as actual facts?

Gingrich was doing his talking head bit on FOX post speech - made a good point comparing Trump's current situation to Thatcher's back in the day .... she brought the opposing Left over slowly but surely - the more moderate Lefts coming Right leaving the hardcore-unreasonable-uncompromising-nutcase Lefts ... they got to be called the Looney Left

"Rave" reviews from the likes of CNN and Van Jones really makes me feel uneasy. I keep wondering exactly what they are up to. Personally, I felt it was a very good speech in both message and how it was delivered. It was fun to see Pelosi's face after some of the comments President Trump said. You could tell that the old harridan was far from pleased seeing him verbally dismantle the legislation she was such a part of...Ocare. I will never forget that witch walking into the chamber to vote carrying that ridiculous oversized gavel.

And for the white brigade on the floor, it looked ridiculous. Maybe I'm old school but I was always told that a lady doesn't wear white before Memorial Day.

I enjoyed watching the Democrats looking around to see who was standing, clapping, sitting and ignoring among their numbers.......just like lemmings wondering if it was time to jump off the cliff yet.

Yet there were a few who did stand independently and with enthusiasm, who probably will need a talking-to today......lol

Small women would have been crushed in the race to get outside the doors, before the last ovation......but most of the Dems are a bit on the larger side, except Pelosi who had to sit near the front because of her position.

And yet, AND YET they tell us that the polling shows his approval rating as the lowest in history at this point one month in? Either the same poll will show a huge increase in his approval rating next week after the reaction from the speech or the polls are still being rigged as they were during the campaign as the polling all showed that Trump was going to pretty much be routed and Hillary was a shoe in.

Well a lot of what they believe about him is pure media bull crap, propaganda to make him look bad. When they hear what he has to say directly from his mouth it can't really be spun too easily, though I'm sure the leftists are trying in today's publications.
