GROUP BUY CoronaVirus Decon UVC Lamp, KI4U Deep Discounted Group Buy...

Has No Life - Lives on TB
Over last 20+ years every new product we've invested time/money in R&D, and manufactured,
or acquired from others, was always first something that I'd personally wanted for my own use.

That has again been the driver exploring & searching for a UVC device that could confidently
inactivate the CoronaVirus. Our goal was to minimize the risk of bringing surface contaminated
anything physical into, and onto, the premises of our business and homes here.

This would include food packaging from the local grocery, and even outside surfaces decon of
fruits and vegetables. Also, sacks from the feed store, either for our livestock or dogs, and any
supplies from hardware or other local suppliers or retailers. Packages and mail via USPS, UPS,
FedEx, etc. Also, paper money or coinage change and after any handing over of, or own use of,
credit cards. And, possibly, even experimenting extending the usage life of PPE, like masks and
eye protection. And, of course, if ever we have to care for a loved one stricken by this virus, the
ability to be able to confidently decontaminate their designated living spaces will be essential, too.

What our research revealed is that an 8800 Microwatts dose is what is required to inactivate the
CoronaVirus. Dose is figured similar to radiation dose, you take the lamp intensity X's distance
X's exposure time. To confirm, we asked a top virologist, a name most here would likely know, if
this 8800 Microwatts dose would be confidently sufficient to deactivate the CoronaVirus. He has
responded back: "Yes, The UV crosslinks DNA and RNA nucleotides to form thymine and cytosine
dimers rendering the DNA or RNA unreadable for viral replication."
IOW's, virus is then neutered.

Unit we'd settled on is from the leader in the UV field, American Ultraviolet, established in 1960...
Healthcare Surface | American Ultraviolet

This UVC device, the HH-18, produces 60 Microwatts per centimeter squared at one meter. That
delivers 9600 Microwatts dose on a surface when distance is only 2 inches for exposure duration
of only 5 seconds. Intense enough that the company strongly recommends protective eye wear.

We have a dozen units ordered, but will only get half that initially, arriving this coming week, then
balance is 2-3 weeks away. Looks like keeping up with demand may be iffy, so I was more inclined
to just make this a group buy. MSRP is $699.00 each, your cost will be just $450, includes shipping
and one pair of their US-100 UVC safety glasses. We'll be making < 5% for our efforts processing
your orders here.

Order online at www.paypal.com sending $450 to webmaster@ki4u.com BUT ALWAYS 1st CHECK
THIS THREAD to make sure we had not already sold out this first batch of a dozen units. I'll always
update here, and with a posting down below, especially announcing when we'd sold out this initial
order. (If interest well exceeds this first dozen, I'll get firm ETA for ordering more into the pipeline.)

As of the time of this posting, 4 units already spoken for (me and 3 doctors), so that leaves 8 units
still available. If you miss out on this, it would not surprise me if there are other comparable units to
be had at competitive prices. Just be sure they both have it in-stock and it can deliver that minimum
8800 Microwatts dose in a reasonable exposure time frame. For myself, I settled on this companies
products, and stopped looking at others, after talking to the CEO at length. I'm confident this unit will
do the job required, as they are, and have been, the world leader in the UV field since 1960, as you'll
see here...

On TB every waking moment
Thanks again, Shane. I had researched smaller less powerful UVC lights and decided to not bother. While this seems a workable solution, I can't swing it just yet. But it gives me a frame of reference, which helps.

Shane,

I recently purchase this UV light from Amazon. Do you see this being adequate in a germicidal role or is the one you have for sale here necessary to do the job? With limited funds would prefer to put savings towards food.

Thank you for putting this out there, you always go the extra mile for others.

V/r,
Peter

A link would be helpful.
Quick glance at it, could not find stated lamp UVC intensity, nor a claimed dose
achieved on a surface when at X distance for X exposure time. Without those
numbers known, can't rate it or make comparisons.

To neutralize CoronaVirus requires minimum of 8800 Microwatts dose on surface.

Unit I'm offering delivers 9600 Microwatts dose on a surface when distance is only
2 inches away for exposure duration of only 5 seconds.

My two cents. Shane is an out standing person. With all the free info & help over the years it was a no brainer for me. Also I want my money going to those who think like minded. And I want to help those that help many here!

My sentiments exactly. And welcome to the board!

CDC called me half hour ago, wanting to confirm my business
phone number was still good, then said; thank you, good bye.

I called the number back, got a recording that said it was for a
survey being done for the CDC by the University of Chicago.

Weird, as I was just about to announce to all we'll have masks
available to sell, that we'd just started selling to some doctors.

I'll be posting notice of it on the front page here at TB2K a little
later, was actually writing it up when I got that call.

I was thinking that also. But one can always take them in a pill. And if your not growing it who knows what's really in it.

UVC providing effective & safe germicidal food protection has a long history.

One quote from https://www.americanultraviolet.com/documents/uvc-food-safety-solutions.pdf

"The product is not altered by the exposure to UV light, other than DNA-based surface contamination,
such as molds, bacteria, and viruses, are reduced, or even eliminated entirely."

Lots more information about the world of UVC at that site, such as this page here...
It's really pretty fascinating, when you start poking around there a bit.

Thank you again Shane ,I was sure I had read info on that. But I must also admit that I love sci-fi. & my head is packed with info after sixteen years here that some times I just need a reality check.

First half dozen units should by now have arrived at each buyers AO.

The rest of the units should be shipping to us tomorrow and we'll be
forwarding on to buyers that same day, quick as we get them in here.

This first batch of a dozen has been sold out.

Anybody else wants one will need to contact us first before paying,
so we can make sure we've got enough interest to do the minimum
quantity to get the price break again. Just email us how many you'd
want to get, if we do it again, here; webmaster@ki4u.com
(Please, no PM's, just email, as I'm trying to keep all these together.)

DEPLORABLE ME
Thanks Shane, it arrived well packed, and is huge! I was so surprised at how robust it seems to be, and the extra lamp was a nice addition.

It's big enough that one pass on a washed countertop or cutting board would be all that's needed after preparing something like chicken to kill off salmonella. So it has an every day non- pandemic related uses too. Oh, prevent mold in hard to reach grouted shower corners etc...

Mine came in today. Haven't even opened yet, went to doctor & found out that I have type A flu. Good thing I just got a order of goodies from S.T. yesterday. The Elderberry works fast & very well. My better half reread the label to tell me it was teaspoons not the 3 tablespoons I just finished. Lol

"The constant touching also explains why the average phone carries 10 times more bacteria than most toilets,
according to Dr Charles Gerba, a professor of microbiology at the University of Arizona."

End of article concludes that UVC light: "...kills up to 99.99 per cent of the microbes living on your phone and phone
cover with UVC in 10 minutes. Since it uses light, it promises to reach every nook and cranny that alcohol wipes can't."

I'll be getting pricing on them, or you might find them available elsewhere, too,
with a google search for SBL350T shatterproof germicidal UVC lamp.

My concern, too. Or, just they insisting we sell all to them alone, not public.

Fed's have done it to us twice before, with a single phone call each time.
300,000 doses of KI right after 9/11, they sent Lear jet for it all same day.
And, FEMA & MEMA bought out all our MRE's for Katrina, 13 truckloads.

It's why, when asked, I won't state how many masks we have left here...
