Who's the resident EMP expert here?
Question is: what does and doesn't need protection - like in a faraday cage?
Specific items are battery powered (rechargeable) drills, hand saws, grinders...........basically all the rechargeable tools Dewalt (and others) makes. Do the tools and batteries both need protection or just the batteries and chargers? I have sent emails asking so called experts and have gotten no replies. Also, how about chain saws? They have a carburetor but not a lot of electronics, like an old vehicle. I am guessing they might be safe-not sure??
Bottom line what hand tools in your garage should be protected by a faraday cage? I know about the cage, just want to make sure I have a complete list of what to put in it.
