In recent months, France has seen a wave of protests - from the Yellow Vest movement to demonstrations against pension reform. While alleged cases of police brutality are on the rise, with videos of suspected police misconduct widely shared on social media, many police officers argue they're only matching the level of violence they're facing from protesters. Our team reports.

Didn't I see a group of protesters carrying a mock guillotine around recently? The dirty french have wide pendulum swings.

That's okay. Their importation of so many muzzies will facilitate a switch to digital. No more pendulums needed.

Last week French firefighters set themselves on fire to protest the changes to the pension system. Yet in many towns the firefighters cannot get to a fire and fight it without the police being there first. "Gangs" start the fires and then attack the firefighters when they arrive.

The police had the largest number of its cohorts killed in the line of duty last year as well as the highest number committing suicide.

The French working classes have been perfectly triangulated and I don't see a way out for them unless they can figure out a way to join hands here.
